Counter-Strike's Most Brain-Dead Mastermind: The Story of Zeus
Ойындар
If you’re at all serious about Counter-Strike, you have an opinion about Zeus.
After all, he is one of the most controversial in-game leaders ever to touch the game. During his seventeen-year-long career, Zeus has served as a founding member of one of esports’ most fabled dynasties.
He’s won over fifty tournaments. He’s won four 1.6 Majors. In succession. He’s made it to the finals of not one, not two, not three, but four CS:GO Majors. He’s been kicked from the organization he helped create, banded together a group of misfits, made the tournament run of a lifetime, and earned back his spot on the very roster that dropped him to begin with.
Zeus has stood atop the world of competitive Counter-Strike for over a decade. And, chances are, you think he sucks.
This is the story of the most divisive mastermind Counter-Strike has ever had.

@@Madge104 Yeah, but the thing about an eco is that it can be used in so many ways. Sure, winning an eco is big, but it all depends on the context of the situation. In Gambit's case at the time, they were on the verge of collapsing atleast mentally, so Zeus used an eco as a free timeout to reinvigorate his team, and it worked.

His story deserves a movie, I can see the ending in my head, he stares at a wall at spawn talking with his teammates, monologuing, tense music plays, with his encouragement the team wins the major, it ends with them commemorating the win and text appears on screen and such
One of the best "The Story Of" you guys have ever done, from the 20 minute mark on is just phenomenal.
This inspires me so much. Even when his team turned their back on him, he still kept on. He stayed true to himself. He knew he was enough. I love this man

@Teh Modest Mouse Yeah i know some of my friends told me that it is F2P now but i dont think it is my kind of game i mostly play games like Squad, Insurgency or Arma but i will defenitly try it out to make sure ^^
This video brought back the nostalgia and core of my childhood. It brought back the wonder I had as a Na'Vi fan, and let me escape from my maturity, and be a kid again, watching my favorite player take on the world. Thank you

im not that in to the csgo esports scene, but this video really made me emotional. The story of one man and his battle against the odds and what people expected of him. Well done Zeus

Because i am a big zeus fan i would like to mention some extra stuff 1) I have watched a lot of his teaching videos and he really knows how to execute awper on t side. Under his orders markeloff, mou, guardian and nog so much simple learned hot to become the best. He has a deep knowledge if the game and is every awpers wet dream on a team. 2) He was really poor at the start of his career and he didn't know if cs was the right choice but he went with his heart. He is a very kind hearted person and amazing motivator. He made gambit breath cs and before the major he was shouting on guys in videos to make them play scrims. 3) He was always accused in navi when they lost in finals but the real problem was not him. Seized and flamie were always performing worse than him (mlg columbus, cluj napoca) I really dont like seized cause he acted like a snake with flamie. Edward and guardian were against the zeus kick. Flamie is known to be really toxic and seized is just lazy. The problem was never in zeus. The new navi may be good fraggers and i still support them but it will never feel like the right navi for me without zeus❤

Man, I loved watching those old Navi teams, this video made me cry. Zeus has one of the most touching stories in all of counterstrike.
I don't watch or play CS but this guy's story seems so cool. I always admire people like Zeus, and like Hai from LoL, where they know their individual play is mediocre at best but their leadership makes up for it ten-fold. Fantastic video!
i was kinda sad when i started watching this vid but then i saw dosia and i just felt happy

I love this "The story of" series. You guys make the best player profile type of videos.
i love these stories man, chokes me up every time.
20:30 I could feel every single word he said. I have never felt more hyped, true leadership. He is one of a kind.
I've been playing CS competitively since 2003. I've been an IGL the entire time. Zeus is someone I looked up to and is probably my favorite player of all-time. Thank you for telling his story as best as you could and doing such a great job at it. This man is an inspiration to me and I thank you for representing him properly. Thank you.
The legend we will never forget, literally heart touching video.
23:54 headshot machine was already there xD
this was the best tribute you could ever make
MAN, RIGHT IN THE FEELS!!! Great work guys! For someone who started CSGO fairly late (2017) , I find it hard to get such in depth info about past events, players, teams, etc. You hear about through friends, or highlight clips, but nothing like this! Keep up the great work guys!

Yes he does. And after Na'vi being runner ups in Ice Challenge and winning Blast Premier against Vitailty and Astralis, that makes a great story. Remember that he shines even if he is in the same team as s1mple.

Its like calling someone the most tactical feeder. Perfect balance between space-creation, and feeding your brains out. Not many people get to this state, but those who do are considered a legend in their scene.
Very very informative and entertaining video. I'm a huge Navi fan all the way back in 1.6. I have followed them for so long and thought I knew everything, but I've learned things from this video! Great job.
This is the best cuttet told and produced video in the whole cs go scene. Just awesome, thank you !
24:30 is the best thing i've seen in CS:GO history
This video was sick, I loved the editing and everything else
When i was new to cs it was the trend clip n gameplay of the decades for us, Edward the legend.
This is one of your best vids tbh, keep it up like this
