Memories of CS:GO - The Early Years
Ойындар
As we start a new era with Counter-Strike 2, we remember the golden years of CS:GO and it's heroes.
The past 10 years have taken us from bedrooms to sold out arenas. But how did this all come to be?
A journey that began all the way back in 2012 with the release of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

Im really glad for dupreeh that he was able to make his dad proud. I lost my mum to cancer aswell in 2014, i was only 16 at the time. It really ruins everything around you to the point where you dont even want to do the things that you usually adore and love. It makes you angry, sad, hopeless.. Dupreeh can be very proud of himself for not giving up during these heavy times and also for keeping his dad in the best memory💚

Played CS since I was was 11 (I'm 34 now, quit playing when I was 24) literally the best times of my life, the LAN parties, getting a drink from the blue BAWLS fridge, chatting with groups of players at 2am smoking cigs in the front of Cyberglobe cafe. CS was the most passionate I've ever been about anything. Not a care in the world, just good times. Thanks for this masterpiece.
Pasha is love, Pasha is life. The way he is, omlets for Valentines, always humble it's just briliant. One day when i just split with my girlfriend after 3 years i was really sad, i saw Pasha comming to mall with his wife - she was pregnant for a first time I remember. i smiled but after all i was not in a mood to even bother him, then suddenly he asked me about shopping, shake my hand and greet good day. He didnt even know how happy he made me that day. Pasha - thank you!

This video is huge for me, csgo was my life for years, this brings back so much memories and I can remember everything like it was yesterday because I was so engrossed in the majors. The game was amazing, and it’s almost like it rewarded me for the 7000 hours I put into it and attending 4 majors because I found one of my Smurf accounts that had 450k worth of Katowice capsules and stickers on it, so it set me up for life. In just 10 years this game has produced absolute history, art, theater and memories.
not me standing and clapping like im at a orchestra concert at the end
This brought up memories, not only of the best fps, but the events, orgs, players, and other scenes all coming up together. A better time for all esports. I miss when devs cared for their consumers
I absolutely loved every second of these almost 90 minutes of pure nostalgia and appreciation. I gotta admit I felt a little sad watching it. I’ve been around CS since 1.0b, I’ve always had high hopes and wanted to be a pro player so much. Watching n0thing take his box of memories out and all them player passes and literal artifacts like pins etc. I had found myself literally out of breath, it crushed me. It was a different time, parents issues, society thinking of gamers as lazy drug addicts, I was never meant to succeed. And I take it. It hurts, sure but I’ll accept the fact like each and every one of us had to at some point in life. I’m 35, I have the adult life now and just grind some CS in the evenings chasing the high that Counter strike feeds me with for so long. How fast it all flew by though is unbelievable. I know I’m probably gonna stick for life around this game. That is unless Valve really doesn’t care about the cheaters as the situation now has never been worse and it’s becoming unplayable competitively.
So much nostalgia ❤
This video needs to be watched by all ex and current counter strike players and streamers
It's beautifully made. For a fps game, the pace of this movie is quite opposite. But that thing makes this so unique, and it's just beautiful. Loved every second of it.
