Could the SUFFERING stop NOW!? - THE LAST OF US Reaction 1x8 - "WHEN WE ARE IN NEED"
Ойын-сауық
WE HATED THIS! 😫😫😫
What were the chances that this could happen? 😱 Ellie was SO BRAVE in this episode, we would not survive that hell, but we hated that the horse had to die, that was awful 😭
She even managed to save Joel and then he went back for her and we can't believe how he could do that! 😲 The end was such a relief for us 😬
Thank you so much for watching, we hope you enjoy the reaction and have a great day, love you! 💝

Fun fact: Troy Baker playing David's 2nd in command also does the voice of Joel in the video game 😊

We love how the production included all these actors from the game 😁 It's a nice connection for the fans.
The look of terror on Ellie’s face when she looks down and sees what she did to David broke me, because you can see how terrified she was of what David did to her…and she’s terrified of herself. The poor baby. Joel was so soft and comforting in that moment too…can we all get a hug from Pedro Pascal, PLEASE?!

After that episode, we all need a hug from Pedro Pascal 🥺
This episode was a lot to experience. Ellie is tough but she's still a young girl that needs help from others. Joel and her really grew to care about each other and look out for each other.

Yes! Ellie is strong without a doubt, but no girl should go through that nightmare ever.
Baby girl is what Joel called his daughter Sarah. This was a very determining moment in their relationship.

Right!! That's the moment he realizes she's like a daughter to hike now 🥺
Waiting for Joel to rumble in and save the day made Ellie fighting her own way out just that much more satisfying to me. The writing and acting in this show is spot on, I hated that creepy cult leader so much, almost forgot he was acting.😁 Thanks for the reaction, see you next time!

The production really made sure to cast all the original actors of the game they could. That's awesome!
It's terrifying to imagine what David did before the fall.

I honestly appreciate the 'little talks' after difficult scenes. It's really different from other reactors, but it seems like it helps you come back to real life and process what just happened. Plus it gives your community insight to how you two think! 😊😊 10k QnA please haha, it's gonna happen soon!

Hi! Thank you so much for commenting 💖 We've actually seen other reactors doing this sort of pauses and we thought we would benefit from them as well. It helps us to recollect our thoughts and also to talk about things we aren't sure we got right, aaand for copyright 🤭 We're actually planning on doing a Q&A soon, we'll probably announce it tomorrow and we hope you can make it 🥰

Women will survive, they'll get something organized. I'm an old army guy, but, I know my wife is the best of mindsets...I realized a long time ago, I do violence well, violence creates things, only it is temporary. Peace is sustaining. Until the next episode. All the best. Cheers.

Ellie was so traumatized after that attempted sexual assault. 😢 When Joel embraced her and called “babygirl” for the first time was so beautiful. That’s what he called his daughter. Joel was willing to do any & everything to find & protect Ellie. Joel’s brutality was on full display. Really great reaction! 😊

0:50. I’m pretty sure you’re joking, but it seems sometimes you don’t realize the entire world is in extreme danger and disarray for twenty years. Not just shopping or finding a job will be incredibly different in this scenario! Everyone will be far different than anyone you have ever been around!😆🌿🌸

I mean, we weren't joking about him retiring from violence. At least in the way he's been acting. It's simply to much for anyone, and we can tell he's been through too much already with his anxiety acting up. We understand it's impossible for him to avoid being violent for ever in this context, but he should avoid putting himself in those sort of situations from now own.
Well that is the darkest episode so far for me. No matter how bad the world can get , mankind always finds a way to make it worse.... society being a thin layer on top of the animal we still are when being pressured. I just dont like that its so often portrayed as the wicked man of faith, painting faithfull ppl as villains way to often.
@douglas2938

It's just as much as a trope as "evil/unscrupulous scientists" tbh, but I think it was a fun twist that the underlying feeling was that it was only a shortcut that he used to get people to trust him.
@NerdishReact

Interesting point of view, thanks for sharing! We feel like it's a common trope as well but we didn't see it like that in this case. In the end, it wasn't really about faith but about control, so you could say he wasn't a religious person after all, just a person who realized he could control people through their beliefs.
I really had to steel myself to watch this reaction. man.

Ellie wasn't trying to make her voice more menacing. It was just coincidental. That scene was shot during the coldest day of filming, with daytime temperatures around -18C. It also accounts for the very red cheeks.

@NerdishReact that's actually relatively normal for a western Canadian winter. Also, that wouldn't be accounting for the windchill.
