@@gailseatonhumbert just to clarify a bit. In the game and show, Joel only arrives after Ellie kills David. The only difference is the game he arrives inside the restaurant whereas the show he is met outside. But I see the point, Joel stopping Ellie from continually hacking still plays into the damsel in distress trope.
