@@jerrymundwoodjr.2084 The largest wire in most Bargman trailer connectors is the charge wire. It's #10 usually, good for maybe 30 amps. Typically, a 12 volt winch draws up to 300-400 amps on peaks. They would likely vaporize the #10 wire, set fire to the Banana and make recovery of a RZR that much more difficult when the fire went out. The day Matt was having could do without pyrotechnics.

I once got a work jeep stuck deep in the swamps of eastern NC. Like this, it was not an easy job. There was not really a "road" to get where we were. "Al", the crusty old wrecker driver and Navy Vet that came and got us, said as he was driving us (like a mad man) back to the spot we got stuck, "The first guy I worked for said you never leave one." My boss asked him, "Did you ever leave one? Al: "Yeah. I left two." He didn't elaborate. After the recovery, my boss asked, "So after seeing what you just went through to get us, I gotta ask, what about the two you left?" Al: "The first was a fully loaded cement mixer burried up to the axles. The second was a Cadillac that had jumped itself into a canal. Got it the next day tho with the help of my brother and a second truck..." He charged us $80 and even billed the company we worked for. "I don't take credit cards, but I'll write you an invoice. I know you're good for it" We always said he did at least $80 damage to his truck getting to us.

Mount the winch inside the box to get that extra pulling range you need with the big 4 seaters. 2. Ebay has wireless remotes for the winch cheap! 3. A solar panel and charging circuit from your Jeep would keep a jump pack charged in the box. Thanks for sharing your passion.

Add another battery to the jeep, wire in series with the other battery and run a set of 2.0 red and black welding cables undrr the jeep (tucked up out of the way of course); and when you get to the back bumper use a couple sets of quick connections you see on forklift batteries and build a jumper cable using same color cables between the back bumper and the trailer and add same quick connect to the trailer, this way the battery on the trailer will always be charged. Rewatching these older vids and seeing where you, and where you are, what a great advancement in your operation. I’d say in your personality too, but only in how you are better prepared -which comes with experience - but your humility has made you a better person. The community involvement - and I’m going to throw a little compliment to Jaymie here, cause we know that behind a great man, is a greater woman - to how you build up others, through training them and trusting them in areas they’re not familiar with or experienced, like with Lizzy and welding. You’ve given Rudy a great platform to start his own YT channel, and your other sons are also benefiting from your talent and parenting. Sorry to see some faces go - Randy, Trevor, Skeeter, Lizzy - but great to see those who are replacing the vacancies are stepping up and beginning new adventures. Continue to strive to reach out to others, both young and old like Abbey - what a sweetheart - and Ed, what a great source of knowledge and stories, as well as four legged critters and even those without legs, like snakes and ringtail cats too.

Stubbornness wins over intelligence most of the time. Matt it proves your human. Still made a greatly detailed video.
