Most of the Jedi council are there in the hope that he or she catches his lightsaber blade long enough with their bodies so that the stronger council members get a chance to hit vader to be real it’s just madara vs the shinobi all over again

Honestly Vader probably could do it but i think the combined teamwork of the stronger members could more than likely do more damage than one would think and give them the win. But even having this conversation is something and speaks volumes on vader.

An addition to Grevious, his key ability is intimidation and surprise. Dooku told him so when easily handing him in training. Fright and a lack of confidence for a force user is a self fulfilling prophecy of being unable because you believe you can’t. “That is why you fail” like Yoda said. On a normal day, those who got beaten by Grevious would be stronger but then again if against Vader, they might mentally shit themselves too and be just as bad if not worse. Really depends on who can keep their cool.

IMO, Vader would definitely have the most trouble with Mace and Yoda; a reasonable amount with Obi Wan being that he was his former master. Vader could probably overpower the rest of the council without much difficulty.

suit vader lost to OWK 10 years out of practice obi-wan (obi received "twin amp" but this is a big anti feat for vader regardless) suit vader comes to his prime somewhere around RoTJ and he still loses to unexperienced luke (luke should by all logic be weaker than KF vader or "zonakin" (version of him that trashed dooku after briefly channeling the dark side) ) suit vader can´t take yoda and mace at the same time and win - he is too slow for them - suit vader gets tagged into his suit frequntly - ahsoka and obi wan both destroyed half his mask , obi wan destroyed his chest control pannel , ESB luke tagged him on the shoulder , RoTJ luke cuts his hand off ... to be honest yoda could probably solo him , mustafar kenobi could solo him as well . add mace and it is a done deal . the rest of the council are basically fodder but they are not needed in this fight . the big trio would stomp suit vader . not to mention windus style vaapad would be channeling vaders hate back at him ... anakins / vaders overall prime is operation knightfall - at that point he was probably the strongest character in the galaxy (after his injuries he lost his potential to surpass sidious , he lost his agility and mobility and he had to completely redo his fighting style) .

Excellent analysis! They finally understand how strong Darth Vader is. The Dark Lord wipes the floors with every Jedi from the temple, but in my opinion he would have big problems with Yoda, but he still remains one of the strongest! I remember Sidious's words: "You have no equal among the Jedi and Sith of the past and present, Lord Vader! ".

I'd like to see more content on the generation of Skywalkers that follows Luke, comparing them to previous Jedi or Sith. I think they all have some crazy feats that would be interesting to scale to other notable figures in Jedi/Sith history. Ben Skywalker by the end of Fate of the Jedi is my favorite Star Wars character ever, and even though he never got to keep evolving and getting more powerful, it would be cool to see where he scales with the feats he did achieve

I wouldn't mind a Darth vitiate or darth Cadeus video. Revan could also be fun to talk about given his character. I personally believe Revan at his absolute strongest should be stronger then obi wan but that's just me.

Revan is not even close to as powerful as his fanboys make him to be. the ancient sith were powerful but they were all basically weak and mediocre compared to modern sith like Vader and Sidious .

No he couldn't. Yoda alone would be enough for him, now take Plo koon and Mace windu in and its already over. Take them out and Vader easily soloed the entire jedi temple and not only the council.

It also should be noted in Ep 3 novelization it’s even stated that Anakin is stronger than any Jedi that Yoda has ever known before. While it’s debated if Anakin is equal or surpasses Mace and Yoda, the fact he’s being compare to the two strongest shows how powerful Anakin was in Ep 3. Again Ep 2 guidebook stated Anakin was already Yoda level if not more powerful only lacking skill and experience. Also one year before New hope, Vader fights Galen Marek. Galen during his training fights against Jedi mannequins that were strong as the original individuals. These mannequin’s were the entire Jedi council, Galen disarmed and force pushed Plo Koon, dismembered Coleman and Mace, melted Kit Fisto, threw and blasted out Anakin, Obi Wan, Mundi, Saesee, Agen Kolar and Shaak Ti got destroyed by his force lightning, Stass Allie got beheaded and finally flung and destroyed Yoda. Vader faced the later and more trained Galen Marek and while he did underestimated him at first still put up a fight against him. Then when he had a rematch with Galen, Vader destroyed him and trying not to kill him. Proving Vader already surpassed the council. In Ep 6 novelization Vader was outright stated to be the strongest man in the galaxy including Luke. The same Luke surpasses his Ep 5 self who was stated to be stronger than any Jedi in history. Vader only being second to Sidious. Ep 6 novelization Sidious states Vader’s force powers have become more powerful than ever before including his Knightfall self. Yeah Vader definitely surpassed the council.

This was really cool and really puts into perspective how overpowered Vader can be. Because even if you don't think Darth Vader could actually solo the entire Prequal era Council by himself, the fact that he can do that to them outside of possibly the top 3 masters and the fact this is even a serious and debatable topic just makes the Dark Lord of the Sith that much more terrifying. Also, I just thought of this, but do you think you can make a video on either a battle royal between the Champions from BOTW and AOC or them against Link from those games (no Tears of the Kingdom obviously so it is as fair as possible)? Because while there is precedent for the Hero of the Wild to win against any of them by killing the Blight Ganons, holding off all 4 at once for a bit without the Champion powers and his full arsenal from Breath of the Wild and only getting overwhelmed by the Hallows in Age of Calamity when they jumped him, I'm curious to know if the 4 strongest of 4 of the 5 dominant species in Hyrule have realistic win conditions against their friend.

One video I would love to see is Cole from infamous versus starkiller. It would also be neat if you did darth starkiller vs bad ending Cole as a bonus

I'm pretty sure starkiller could defeat cole. Nothing can defeat bad ending cole because he can rebuild himself from nothing, you could nuke him and completely obliterate his body and he'll still come back, making him immortal. The only thing that can truly kill him is something like the RFI.

Great video, but I'm curious about something, you stated that Sidious was stronger against Yoda than when he fought Windu, but wasn't Yoda also nerfed because of said Order? I remember there was a scene where his body started weakening

Do you mind makng a video of darth vader vs darth sidious with both of them at their apex of power? I know you mentioned some things on this topic on your summary of darh vaders power in legends but im just curious in terms of feats, raw force power, any amps and dueling skills could vader actually pull off beating a prime darth sidious or even his heir to the empire version. Is there anything about darth vader that is deemed severely underrated that could give him a strong advantage over palpatine? Im not an expert in legends but this is something ive thought about for a bit after watching some of your videos. This was another great one!

It's funny how in lore Canon Vader got way more powerful than Canon Anakin than Legends Vader got over Legends Anakin (George being very keen on Vader actually being weaker, but being retconned later by other authors), but Legends Anakin would destroy Canon Vader just because of how different the scaling is

The 2003 clone wars proved that Legends Clones and droids are better and more skilled than their canon counter parts no emotions just made for war

I know its Disney Canon only, but there is a comic where Vader, unrestricted by his suit and briefly given back his full potential in the force, was able to bully the entire council and even kill Sidious. Granted it was just a vision by the Force, but it was still the closest thing to a canon "what if" we have.

I believe it was said in the novel he hadn’t eaten or sleep in days and shaak ti even says that he should be in the medical wing so he wasn’t at his best

Also u forgot to mention plo beat yoda in a practive duel, which is the only time yoda ever lost a duel even if it was a practice

Plo Koon & Yoda would be the biggest physical challenge, with Obi-Wan being his biggest mental distraction. Don't forget that Vader's whole style of fighting is based on Jedi philosophy & techniques oddly cemented by these very members. Vader knows them better than perhaps they know themselves. Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader are fundamentally different people and mindsets, and Vader learned from Anakin's mistakes.

Vader would beat Mace Windu because Vader's Saber form is defensive and calculated which is a great counter against Vapad

So plo koon offers electric judgement as fire support Yoda concetrates so as Vader doesn't force overwhelm the others while Mundi and Mace, obi wan, kit fisto and shak ti fight vader while the rest are all casualties.

Haven't started yet but: Most members are consulars not sentinels or guardians. They're strong and reliant on the force but not good in cqc. Most likely it'll be Yoda leading them combining their power to blast or contain Vader while Mace, Obi, and Mundi do the initial blitz. I think he has a solid chance but all of them at once might prove too much. If the first blitz fails then GG for the council

The council would definitely bested him a bit easily. However 1v1 slowly through the council might be a different situation. Problem with Vader is he underestimates characters like Obi Wan(Kenobi show) but then in Battlefront 2 he’s like “Yoda, do not underestimate him”. If he were able to keep himself calm and not use the Dark Side against Mace Windu he might win mid tier. If he doesn’t play around with Ben then he should be able to disarm him. Yoda might take the cake.

I’m pretty sure he could the biggest issue wouldn’t even be yoda or mace it’ll be himself … I’m in the camp that if padme lived( even tho Vader had his body destroyed) he’d be stronger then sidious like during the og canon he had nothing but the empire and sidious so he had no reason to rebel

Awesome video 💯, vader can definitely defeat all of the council because he is more powerful and skilled then all of them. It would still be a fight though especially with the more powerful jedi like yoda and windu but the rest will fall easily to vader.

So, are the feats used here from both canon and non-canon materials for the Jedi Council because that's what it seemed like - arguing composites for these characters.

Bro this is the best match up out there. If you used Sidious during the time of Vader than we know he would be able to beat all three. He became much and I mean leagues stronger after the fall of the jedi order.

Does Vader know he's to time travel back into the past? Yes or no, the asymmetry of information still favours him: he knows them all, they don't know him. In either case, his first move will be to immediately kill Windu, Yoda or both in the initial confusion. If both are killed or severely maimed, this fight won't last long. Especially if he shuts the fuck up and keeps them guessing.

All at once, no way, but one on one or in small groups, definitely! Windu and Yoda versus Vader though at ANY time would have been a loss for Vader IMO, a tough fight for them both but I just can't fathom defeating the both of them, at once - one on one, I think he'd beat them both just because he is Vader, but if it was more like a Game of Thrones or Walking Dead universe where really anyone can die, then I think he would beat them individually, but would 100% die or be permanently ruined for his efforts, there's no way you face Windu AND Yoda without leaving "Scarrrred and deforrrmed"

LUKE SKYWALKER was stronger than Yoda by the time of Empire Strikes Back and lost his initial fight with Vader and only beat a conflicted Vader while amped . Yoda fought an early Vader for a day and a half and that Vader pales in comparison to The Vader in A new hope and THAT is nothing to Return of The Jedi Vader . Stop meat riding Yoda

As for my view on Rule of 1 vs galactic empire, the 1 sith stomp and here's why: Battle droids in micro series could'nt even scratch 1 Jedi. Imperial forces will have the same problem with the sith tho in a WAY more impossible manner for low powered force lightning can 1 shot an ATaT Darth Trooper Phase 3 and force crush star destroyer executor. Then theirs Darth Wyyrloks sith illusion which can mindr### millions of units to fight each other, making the fight easier for the sith to win. plus they got more advanced technology.

If it’s the Vader from rogue one, fallen order, the force unleashed, or the comics - the Jedi council would get absolutely cooked. The only ones who wouldn’t immediately die are Yoda, Windu and maybe Plo Koon. It’s just a matter of time though.

I’m not sure where this under estimation for obi-Wan is coming from. In episode one he could sense the Sith right off the bat when Quagen could not. As an apprentice He single-handedly destroyed a Seth lord that scales to the Council members. Stalemates Anakin in a push fight. He is easily one of the most powerful Jedi in history. In the second Dooku fight there were two Sith Lords in that room by the way
