Im replaying the force unleashed rn and i must say, for a game released in 2008 its extremely impressive to this day, story wise and gameplay wise, it never fails to disappoint

What an amazing way to tie Starkiller into the story.

I like the ideas you got in here for the most part. Like keeping Starkiller as a secret apprentice, having him turn good and meeting Ahsoka. I wasn't a fan of changing the events on Malachor, but that's just me and it's due to me being a big fan of Ahsoka.

I don’t want them to do this because they would nerf star killer so hard

If starkiller was canon Disney would ruin him

Very creative placement in Darth vaders story in canon! Still, i'm not sure it would be in canon Darth Vaders character to act the same way legends vader did that early in the timeline. I'm certainly doubtful of them letting Galen be that powerful during the empire era as well

Canon Vader is desperate to kill Sidious throughout the majority of canon, that remains the same. Also, if you noticed, Galen is nerfed here compared to Legends. He contends with Ahsoka sure, but she's empathetic towards him; and Galen loses to Vader point blank.

Darth Vader certainly had thoughts about it early on but he was never fed up enough with the emperor to try anything until after the hand maiden incident, which was after ESB. Until that point he was still content in giving the empire force sensitive infants like eeth koths kid without ever trying anything. If anything he might be more motivated to kill Galen while he's a boy given how insecure he is about being replaced if Lord vader thought he'd be powerful enough. (he ended up destroying the Holocron of catalogued force sensitive kids in another early comic.) Come to think of it, Vaders fortress wouldn't be a good place to hide Galen either. Members of Palpatines inner circle visit it for inspections, has hallucinogenic Gas leaks, and it's attacked by natives semi regularly. Gah, I'm sorry for being so nitpicky. Starkiller in canon was always gonna be a hard sell for me

In canon we always had a deep hate for palpatine and tried to fight back a few times. Him having a secret apprentice to try to overthrow palpatine makes sense. Especially placing it this early in the timeline, allowing to completely crush vader's plans for years until luke reignites the flame

I will always say I would really like to see a starkiller show wouldn’t even mind if he was op as long as Darth Vader gets him in the end

This video is amazing, but probably not how I would go about including Starkiller in canon. I like the way events play out in Rebels too much to change anything that happens. Full Fat Videos came up with the idea of Starkiller playing a sort of Winter Soldier role in the galaxy, and I love it. Starkiller being a sort of project that Vader had going on in the background. One that was kept in Carbonite most of the time, but let out when Vader didn't want to get his hands dirty with a task too difficult for the Inquisitors. (Maybe he could even be genetically enhanced or something through the clone experiments they're doing in Bad Batch). All of that could tie in really well with future seasons of Ahsoka. They could very easily make a plot where Thrawn is after Starkiller, who is currently encased in Carbonite somewhere among one of Vader's many safehouses.

I still think that elements of the force unleashed will be canonized, especially the beginning. Your variant is interesting, but it seems unlikely

Starkiller can fit perfectly into canon except for him starting the rebel alliance and Palps/Vader knowing exactly who started the alliance even as a kid that made no sense to me. Then just ignore the forceunleashed 2 or say he wasn’t a clone and remove the other clones of him

I feel like I’m one of the very few who strongly thinks starkiller should stay far away from cannon. If they made him cannon he’d have to be nerfed a lot, like he’d have to be like 5% of his game power for it to be compelling and not story breaking. It’s get boring to see someone who can’t lose even when fighting Jedi like Luke Skywalker.

That's not necessarily true. We've seen Force-Unleashed level powers in canon a few times, so nerfing Starkiller is not necessary. If you are worried that he will outshine Luke, just give Luke more impressive feats with the Force.

If you think about it for a second you'll see that ut doesn't maje sense when considering the storyof the games. In both games the canon ending is the good ending. So in force unleashed it's starkiller "dying" a hero against vader and palpatine and in force unleashed 2, it's him setting out for a new adventure after capturing vader by exploiting his lightning weakness. Anything other than the main story of each game leading to the good ending in each is an alternate version of the story, even within the game. Then you also have the novels putting more context behind his feats, showing the despite being very strong, he wasn't on vader's and palpatine's level just yet

I was expecting Galen telling Darth Vader: " You told me we could defeat the emperor together, not with someone else!" and then Vader answering: "I LIED!"

If they bring starkiller into canon, leave him power wise the way he is in unleash 2 . So what his abilities are Op. Let him be force unleash 2 version. Or else don't fix what was never broken to begin with.

I don’t think star killer should be in the candidate at all. I loved his story, and I loved how powerful and cool he was but even since he was introduced always thought he never really fit. Much like the clone wars 2003. Awesome and cool, but a little much for canon.

You got it wrong. All Disney has to do is mention the name Starkiller. Modern Star Wars is all about name dropping people from better Star Wars media. At the very most Starkiller could be a background character in his own show.

I feel transforming anything from media to video games you need to amp it up like how they invented monsters just for that game alone. I just like the story and idea of this character not his feats. It makes sense especially since he had Ashoka as a Jedi and now as a with he would have star killer. (I guess it just helps show the difference and how much the dark side changed darth Vader)

thank you for not having Vader get molly whopped by starkiller. i'm okay with starkiller being powerful and having great potential but could not overcome a being of vader's caliber.

He was never canon to begin with btw and if he is getting put in people are gonna be extremely disappointed given the bar being extremely unrealistically high for him to be this powerful video game character that we know him to b.

Ezra and Kanan are watered-down versions of Galen Marek and Rahm Kota. Making Starkiller fit Disney's warped universe is pointless. I would never want to subject that great character to live in the loony reality of The Disney Disaster.
