I never use moving decoys. I have found that cats tend to hang up more with a decoy while they try to figure out what it is.

1 way to be real good!!!! Hunt where the animals are!!! If you can locate a cougar then you are doing better then most! We have a problem cougar hes killed 3 goats and they have 3 goats left after the 1st one they got trail cameras and found out it was a BIG tom, and he killed the last 2 goats during the day before lunch time! So this cougar is getting really brave! We have been up there chasing him and he hasnt came back, but we know he's going to! Gotta be patient thats for sure!!! All deer and elk hunters should be required to get a bear, coyote, cougar or at least try for them! I buy my tags for them anyway! Ive gotten a few big bears! At the Sportsmans show in Portlamd ODFW had been watching a black bear kill elk calf after elk calf, normally they don't get in the way of that but this elk area was the elk feeding area off the road so the ODFW officer called in and got the O.K to shoot this elk calf murderer and they have it stuffed ar the Sportsmans show of the bear standing up claws and teeth out jumping up and have the baby elk calf below the full body mount and on the plaque it said the story of how many baby elk the game wardens watched the bear kill and eat!!!!! Those bears have an amazing nose the bears can smell 7 times better then a bloodhound dog so they can just smell those baby calfs hiding they dont stand a chance and the bear population have been growing off the charts wow!!! I carry a sidearm now from running into all these sows with cubs, blacl bears kill more humans then Grizzlies have so I am not going to take the gamble since I hunt in the woods a lot!

You must of kept the gristle on, cut against the grain and its perfect, also a really good tip if you are eating a tough meat is Tenderquick, a type of salt by Mortons!!! Its bery rare and hard to find but hands down it makes a tough steak VERY nice amd tender, add some of that to any fish, steaks and brown sugar and sweet baby rays and its a life changer no joke!!!!!

Cougars are critically endangered and it’s gross thinking of hunting and eating a carnivore 🙄of course it’s Americans that eat anything and they stereotype China of eating everything

cougar populations are at an all time high, and starting to have a large impact on prey populations as well as more and more interactions with people.

Carl......do you think in Oregon the way the way politics work that you would even REMOTELY be able to hunt for cougers if they were endangered? Much less year round? Use your critical thinking skills and dont eat the blue pill.....
