The bridge with the iron bars is nice. For a forrest i think the well with the roof would fit very good. And I just found out, when you put down the algae you can find while diving, it is just a small pile of algae and nit in a aquarium. Maybe you have a nice design idea with hat

Can't you place it on top of in game paths hiding them and making the noise? I know you can do that with some custom design paths

How to I get the custom design spot on the designer? I have to keep clicking into the pro designer app and display the pattern on the ground, exit out of the app, move my character, and repeat the process

My tip is to make it look natural. Make curves, etc. The natural paths are not 100% perfect, so don't feel bad for not making it consistent! Sometimes, you are walking through a forest and, at some point, the "path" may disappear, because it is not consistent! Don't feel bad for leaving some parts without the path ^^ you can even mix the path with another one like little wood planks, etc.

Cottagecore isn’t just a “trend” it’s a subculture created by the lgbtq community (mostly lesbians). Especially with all the drama with Briclyn Forest branding herself as cottagecore when she is openly homophobic and transphobic, it’s important to give credit where credit is due. Love your videos though!

Tik tok is better than KZread yes! Especially when alot of the animal crossing community is lgbtq. Thank you for agreeing with me though, I was worried people would get upset with me saying this, I’m not trying to start drama. As a wlw cottagecore makes me feel like we have some to recognized by.

I've been using mums as well for the exact same reason! They totally look like dandelions. x3 Mostly green and yellow though. I love green mums.

I think that cosmos are also a really great cottagecore flower! They look like wild daisies :)

I love The Path, and I got a couple of add on bits for it, one with a center whole in the path, and another for a single tile piece. I also use a great stone path pattern, that is made to make circular and diagonal paths

Loving all the tips for deep in the woods, trying to build an interesting hiking path.

I actually just started a new island just over a week ago, and I haven't unlocked terraforming or even ables yet, but I'm already planning for a Cottagecore style! My best friend also started a new island on the same day as me and they're doing really well making their island very Cottagecore (it was my 16th birthday and we restarted together because I had lost the enthusiasm and the desire to play the game anymore). My friend, however, time travelled at first (so they could start from the launch date like they did their first island as well as me) but once they got to real time they stopped. I started on the date of my birthday so I'm not able to time travel, but I'm tired of waiting for the terraforming tool!! Basically now I'm just watching tutorials and ideas while I work towards unlocking everything I need to get properly started, but I really need some help with getting mushroom items and other natural decorations, so if you time travel or if you can help me out with anything at all really, please reply and we can add each other

Thanks this helps a lot, I'm going to be redoing my entire island and making it cottagecore with a twist. The twist is its going to have a medieval castle! I've got a general layout planned and I'm excited. Maybe if I get it to the way I like, I'll show some pics and maybe a tour one day.

I haven't done a lot of terraforming because I am trying to stay relatively natural, and I like the original layout of my island. But, I did have these two large plateaus with a narrow (hard to see anything in it) canyon that was perplexing me. I watched your video and knew immediately that I needed to connect those plateaus with a land bridge and fill the canyon with some water. I have, it's lovely, and I am very pleased with the results. Thank you for your design videos, they are truly inspirational!

I'm making my island a kind of cottagecore halloweenish style and this really helped!

I'd love to see what your overall map looks like. It always seems like your island is HUGE, especially with that fishing pond!!! But I love that area! Definitely going to try and recreate it on my island!

I spent so many bells moving all my houses onto the main part of my island for a city-esque feel and now I'm considering a cottage core spaced out motif.

Great video and great ideas, I always get inspired from your videos but I'm kind of against cottagecoreing (?) my island xD I came with a strange simetrical vibe and I don't love the chaos that cottagecore brings up, also I love using the standard paths because all my villagers use them and travel through all the island :D

Go Pat, thanks for another great video! I honestly love natural islands, I redid mine because I hated how grid-type it had become, and I felt like I was making areas just because I had to use the items that are available.

Same! I made a funfair just because i had the items but i could never make it look good, now I’ve changed that area into a lake with the fishing dock and it looks a lot better

Saying "The Path" doesn't have the same effect without lightening! Also, barbed wire fencing randomly placed too is prevalent in Cottage Core islands.

i am currently doing cottagecore and i use all flowers but in white i also use the same flowers as pat for variety!!!!!

Nice - my island has a simple look to it - not sure I can call it cottagecore ;) but I like it. Love the Log Bridge - very trompe l'oeil (fool the eye!)
