Thanks for the great Tutorial. I am coating my BMW Z4 this weekend with the Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light , EXO V4 and supplies ordered from Obsessed Garage Store .

Love the color combo and the attention to detail. Very tastefully done. Now get the exhaust sorted and it will be good to go.

i did my 2004 z06 with two coats of exo v3 back in november 2017. pretty much,wowo,no cross hatch metrod either. it still beads nicely! i polished it using my cyclo with the wolfgang twins/orange and white pads. about to do it again as it is for sale. the finish still looks quite nice,so it'll likely get 205 then csl/exov4.

Love this Vette. Brian with Apex did a blue ZO6 not sure which of these two I love more.

I just got my serum light today, and I gotta say this video gave me more confidence to use it, I’m still kinda shitting bricks worried about messing it up but alittle more confident now😂

The Crystal Serum Light is extremely easy to apply. Don't sweat it, and you'll be fine.

J Mucitelli Matt has a god channel, but missed an opportunity to gain a lot of new and loyal subs by mocking the corvette. Wonder if he was the kid who made fun of other kids who didn’t wear the newest and most popular runners and clothes? Corvette has done an unreliable job with the C7 and bang for the buck is second to none

Matt, why do you not coat the headlights? Is it just to not risk the UV coating from factory? Maybe only coat headlights you had to correct anyway?

Quick question connected to the CarPro Eraser: if I have a car waxed with Meguiar's Gold Wax and I want to remove it to apply a ceramic coat, can I use Eraser to remove the wax ? Thank you

I tried shining some OG light on a new detailer about coatings and how not to drink the Koolaid on the "pro only" coatings. I suggested he offer a coating WITHOUT paint correction for those who have a "beater car" or who don't care as much about the swirls but would like a little more protection than wax just to make washing easier. He claimed that ceramic coatings are glass and need a perfect surface to bond or else it would fail and couldn't be warrantied for the 3-5 years. I just shook my head and realized he already drank the Koolaid and was a lost cause. lol

says to not use panel wipe on ppf on the bottle--I've caly barred the ppf, intending to put on Crystal Serum Light and Exo on my car. thanks

You can, but I wouldn't. I haven't done it, but you may loose a little clarity.

Hey Matt I don’t have access to a garage but I do have access to a carport could I apply CSL and EXO there? Or would you recommend against that?

so i got bubble streaks under the coating even after 3 towel wipe and "buff". why?

Have you tried applying a coating using the microfiber saver applicators from AutoFiber instead of the block and suede? Life changing, you'll never want to go back

coating are expensive, microfiber applicator it will waste more coating.........thats why pro use microsuede and block

My car has PPF on the front end and side skirts, can Crystal Serum Light be used on both the paint and PPF?

John Scicutella yeah, but they have a new coating called Halo that’s designed specifically to go over PPF and wraps

High pile side of towel first then low side? Is this crucial? Slowly talking myself into coating my cars and I want to do everything exactly to OG spec.

I love that you say that coating is idiot proof but I had a guy that put this on my car and there are streaks everywhere and my paint is like sandpaper.
