I have never fished that spot but it looks like a great one. Maybe one day we can meet up and fish it together. Hate seeing a mess like that in good fishing spot. That’s the reason they shut those good places down.

I have the same castaway lightweight Rod with an H2O reel on it. Works really nicely you can feel the bites easily.

You walked a looong way. I drive about halfway the last time I was out there. Over 12 years ago. Great place for some big ones. My PB red was there. My wife’s PB trout was there too. Shame it’s trashed. I wish I could park closer so that I could haul that trash out. Great video!

Don’t film when you go over lol those workers that work over the gate have to call the game wardens to let them go back there so when there’s no workers there I always go back there and never get caught

It’s fine. The outfall is just water used for cooling the power plant. No chemicals to worry about.

Is there vehicle access? I've been wanting to try it but my boat only goes 4-5knots so it would be a long run to get there. Motor is a '71 Sears and I don't trust it completely lol

i knew people who would go up and fish from the walkway. the railing was covered in fiberglass. i also knew people who would go all the way up to the top of the spillway. its amazing what you see in the water on the other side. i mean what *they* would see. yea. them.

Used to go there as a little kid with my dad and my brothers.. that's where I actually learned how to swim. Use to call it getting foam certified😆! My dad would float us all the way out there from the bridge on tubes. but yeah brings back so many good memories every time I go.

Yeah It’s definitely no secret. The amount of trash just tells everyone how pressured it is. Half of people go here and don’t even catch Bc they don’t know what they are doing. the good thing is 80% of people don’t even wanna kayak or walk to the spot let alone know where it is. the first time I went it was packed on a weekend and I was the only one who caught a limit. After 1 KZread video some guy did there he told everyone how to get there and where it was it also got over 50,000 views and that’s when there was no hope for the spilly. If you know where this is you know, But Someone who doesn’t is looking at the video not knowing where or how to get there.

Sad to say that people don't pick up after their selves it will ruin that spot.

It’s already ruined the spot in my opinion. You can’t walk out there barefoot with a hook or glass going through your foot I was stupid to walk barefoot the first time. The current takes all the trash into the bay it’s very sad.
