At the port a Jetties using cut mullet and got a 34inch Red drum!! Then later on got a Black Tip Shark!!

We keep ours in that same area. Looks identical you have prob seen it around there lol. If you look to the east when ur out there near the powerlines you will see a red tractor. Thats my property so Im down there a lot

Nice man! Glad you guys grinded and caught a bunch. Do your boots get stuck in the mud a lot? I'm thinking of walking back there instead of kayaking. Looks easier

They don’t it just depends on the mud. Make sure you don’t go on the peoples property over there I know the owner so it’s ok for me, but I wouldn’t walk on anyone else’s land in Texas might get shot😳😂😂

I only use mono or floro for inshore. Size too circle and 1-2 oz weight. Double drum leaders.

What do you think about the Ugly Stick rod that you were using? Just bought 4 for me and my kids.

It’s my friends rod, But he catches big trout and reds there is nothing wrong with it. Good rod👍🏻

I get my live shrimp at fisherman’s bait and seafood when I’m on the island or the bluff. When I go to Portland I get it from the T heads, But fishermen’s bait gives free ice 👍🏻

@@gavinv.6836 I have some luck with spoons sometimes they get smacked and sometimes nothing at all, I also tear off a peice of an artificial shrimp tail and hook it on the spoon its a trick my grandad taught me.
