HELLO LOVELY VIEWERS! Important Note: If you have questions about this recipe, you can post it here for the community to answer. But if you want to ask me, please get in touch via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or my website (all links are in the description above). If you leave questions in the comments I may not see them due to the large volume of comments I receive across the hundreds of videos on this channel. Also, before sending on any questions be sure to read the written recipe on the website as I often add extra tips and notes not covered in the video. Thank you for watching!
I accidentally click on your channel and I got curious. I watched and I said your approach is very refreshing. It's simple and easy to understand and most of all your video is clear and crisp. In other words, I LOVE IT! Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to your next recipe.

Thank you!
I added seaweed bits and used japanese fish soy sauce instead, and just regular eggs, tasted really good :) amazing ideas thank you!
Actually made this without the eggs today (and the shrimp)... it was utterly amazing... very refreshing and a great accompaniment to the BBQ chicken and pork I made. Thank you for the recipe!
I've tried it just like you did it and just added a tiny bit of Thai basil and I need to say that this is now my very favourite salad. It's so good! If anyone thinks about trying it as well, just do it. You can adjust the spicyness just like you need it and all of the flavours go so well together. I'm in love with this dish just like I am with your channel. ♡

Thank u for sharing. I remember when my Grandma used to use dry shrimps as an extra flavor along with her herbs, spices, 3 trinity and meats when she made her okra gumbo, so delish. Have a great day.
Just made this, super delicious and easy to follow. Thank you x
Hey Pai..."keep doing, what you're doing!" 🤗 its a great show!

If you used to the palm sugar you will felt that it different from the brown sugar. It smell good, and we usually use them for Thai dessert.
@Terrence Nicholson Salted eggs are not the same as boiled eggs, you can't really peel the shells off first, you have to cut through the shell and scoop it out like she did.
oh wow..it's look delicious!!
Very awesome vid . I am sure my sister is gonna like it too.Will make it very soon,promise! Thanks.
Hi Pailin, thank you so much for your channel. I love making your recipes! You are a true pro. I was wondering if you could do more vegan/ raw salad recipes? I'm trying to add more fresh vegan salad to my life :)

+Lisna Wong Nope, you don't need to do anything to the shrimp. Some people wash them just to be extra clean, but they can be eaten just like that.

I just discovered your channel, and I think you are informative, energetic and adorable. Since I am new to your channel, I do have one question that may sound stupid, so sorry in advance, but why didn't you peel the egg, rather than cut if in half and scoop out the insides? Thank for this recipe. I'll be sure to tune in for more.

Thaneii I mentioned this in the video (as text) but salted egg shell becomes brittle and very difficult to peel :)
Can I use canned corn? It goes on sale a lot so I bought couple cans 😄
Pailin, one question for ya. In another video, you listed your favorite choice of brands . Which I have, except for the vinegar. Would appreciate the name of the brand you use please? Thank you for sharing your wonderful recipes.

Dried shrimp? They're more or less the same, and they differ mostly just in size. I go for a medium size one .

@slc12312

Pai should answer, but I've used packed light brown sugar as a substitute. If I don't have that, and often times I don't, I just use refined white sugar.

when im desperate and not at home, I chop the chili and garlic finely on my cutting board and combine with the rest of the liquid ingredients in a bowl. (I have also attempted to mash the garlic and chili in a ziploc bag with a bowl, which turned out better lol). Then I add tomatoes and with my hands, gently squish them but im sure you can use the back of a spoon as well.

Terrence Nicholson This is not the usual boiled egg. She used salted egg. Salted egg is very rubbery and sticky . If you peel off the shell first, the white part tends to stick on your fingers and becomes very messy. Hope this helps☺

This type of egg is almost impossible to peel without losing much of the white, so you cut it in half and scoop it out.
Delicious other than the eggs... I'm doing this... I can't eat eggs... Goat cheese would be good though :P
Any substitute for the shrimp?
@jintanap.675
8 жыл бұрын
It does not important about adding shrimp. I am Thai. Sometimes, we cook with out shrimp. The shrimp make the soup/salad dressing a little bit salty more. Because we use the sea shrimp.
