Dear Chaotic Furious, I have a suggestion for you. I was looking into WW2 Italian planes and they really had some very cool designs (Piaggio P108, Savoia-Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero), so I thought it'd be fun to try a super air Italy run (not using preset designs, just trying to make Italy a powerhouse in air) and failed miserably. I mixed stuff and tried to do a monarchist run together and proclaim Italian empire before the war, but the focus requires 1 million manpower in the field so I had to divert factories to make guns and in the end I had very little planes and a bad army. I managed to capitulate France with paratroopers but when I invaded the UK they had an insane amount of troops home and destroyed my army pretty easily. So, since you're a much better player I thought it'd be fun to see a kind of guide with this idea. Anyway, great content as always and merry Christmas! Best regards from Brazil.🇧🇷

I was just thinking. Since the RL HRE was the first reich, did you recreate the first reich? Or is the HoI4 HRE just a successor state claiming to be the HRE, making it the fourth reich? Love your videos, your content is really refreshing in comparison to other HoI4 content creators

well it recreates the lost empire yes, but you cant recreate the exact thing in the past, but rather germany just claimed to recreate the hre, basically it did make it a fourth reich. you cabt go back witg those numbers kinda

So i did the same defensive line you did against the French on the Maginot but i left the South most tile unmanned (accidentally) then when i declared war, they only sent one unit through that gap and moved a bunch more over the line where i had left space in the north. While they were moving troops i hit the one that pushed through with my tanks and forced them over the line in seconds. I engaged the rest of the with my other troops once i was through. I was able to use my tanks to fully encircle their troops on the Maginot in two days and move on. It was a bit faster than your method. You might give it a try!

In reality, you'd be moved to partial mob after the civil war anyway because total mob only works in war, so you'd be set to the highest available mobilization law (which is partial mob) While you get to keep war economy permanently

Yes, you could have done both with the Democratic or Imperial Germany routes. I recall it being really funny to go Democratic then use all the free war goals to conquer everyone anyway. It was a good way to form EU as Germany.

HRE is cool and all, but Poland's hidden path is easily my fav or poland-lithuania commonwealth as Lithuania Edit: the hidden path is the Romanov path, couldnt remember the name
