The great thing about these Corgi dragsters is that many of them are nice representations of real strip cars. Commuter, Quartermaster, Wild Honey and the Glo-Worm Capri all raced in the 60s and 70s and Arnold Sundqvist's jet-engined Silver Streak modelled by Corgi did some demonstration runs at Santa Pod. Corgi sponsored many of these events.

Custom cars and dragsters were very desirable when I was a kid in the 70"s. We all dreamed of owning the real thing one day. Happy days .....
