Cordless circular saw | Dewalt DCS570 Brushless 184mm Circular Saw

Ғылым және технология

A quick 4 minute review of the DeWalt DCS570 Brushless Circular Saw. This saw takes a 184mm or 7 1/4 in blade. In this video I share some features of the tool I like, some things I don't like and do some testing with the cuts.

I haven't had that problem on my one. Does it cut off after 10 minutes of use. Do you think it could be overheating?

@tooloptics8651 it's not overheating sir..just used it cutting about 3-5 seconds..and in 10 - 20 minutes used again..never overheating yet before..look like the sensor or anything like that

You didn’t mention, but you can see in your video at 2:43 the line guide notch at the front of the base plate is badly out…about 2mm. For machined metal parts this inaccuracy is dreadful….basically if you use the guide to follow a line your work piece will be 2mm wider than you wanted. It would not have cost DeWalt anything to just ensure it was correct huh!

Hi Contessa. I think the notch on the base plate you are referring to, is for when you are cutting at 45 degrees. So I think the accuracy of the base plate is pretty good. But thanks for the comment. 👍

Put it another way….saw a line along a fence guide….then just back up (with power off) and see where the cut line comes at the front notches. The cut is a good 2-3 mm to the right of the notch. The second notch is for beveled cuts…probably well out too I’d imagine. Thanks for responding.
