Corbin Classic Solo Rebel 1100 Seat Upgrade!!

I wanted to upgrade my comfort on my rebel and used some of my tax return to splurge and get the Corbin classic seat. Its probably the best upgrade I've made to the bike. If and when I tour I wanted to have the most comfort. If you are on the verge of pulling the trigger hopefully this will help you decide.

Good video! I was just playing with Corbin's configurator earlier so its nice to see this. Stock seat definitely gets ya in the booty after a bit.

I love the way your Corbin looks. I had a Corbin on my Nighthawk and Mustangs on my Shadow. I noticed the Corbin was harder than the Mustang but both are far better than the stock seats

Omg you live sooooo close to me!!! I recently moved to Byesville, Ohio from Marietta at the beginning of this year. Kinda fell on your channel by accident. Pretty cool to hear there’s KZreadrs close by. I’m a brand new rider, like I mean brand new! Like I just passed my riding course, which I took down in Marietta. I bought a 2023 Honda Rebel 500 SE from Bigtown Powersports over in Marietta last month. I’ve ordered several mods for my bike to make it more comfortable for me. I’m only 5’3 and not a super skinny chic so although I haven’t put hardly any miles on my Rebel, I could tell instantly that the stock seat sucked ass! So my seat is on a UPS seat somewhere as we speak. I ordered the Gunfighter seat so hopefully it turns out to be worth the $500 price tag! Anyways, I’m super stoked to see a You Tuber close by. I don’t know anyone who rides anywhere around me. Stay safe out there. Good luck with your channel!

Heck yeah. I got my rebel 1100 from big hometown motorsports. They are great people and do a really good job. Yeah I’m always riding around and filming. I hope you like your seat it’s a very comfortable seat. Thank you I will do my best on the channel.

How about bar risers to get ergonomics back to closer to original? Probably wouldn't need much. 19mm or so. Helped a lot on some of my bikes to eliminate shoulder fatigue.

So it's been a few months since you got the Corbin seat. I just ordered one for my Rebel. How have you been liking it so far? Also got a question about it. Does it give any back support, or feel like it keeps you in the seat better? I'm a tall guy 6'4 and 340 and I feel like I'm about to slide off the back of the bike when I get on the throttle on the stock seat.

So I will have a video that will be coming out soon on a 3000 mile review but I feel way better in the Corbin seat than I ever would on the stock. I do feel like I stay in the seat very well and I’m 5’11” 290.

Good info on the seat I’m 511 290 pounds just wondering what shock settings you’re using I just picked up a 2023 brand new 1100 T need to adjust the shocks and thought maybe between the two of you, I could get a starting point any help would be very much appreciated.

@@KT-df1fe I'm about 330lbs rn and have the springs at the stiffest setting (18 clicks) and I don't bottom out, but it's close. What you can do to see how much travel you're using in the springs is put a zip tie around the central rod and then go for a ride. See how far down it's pushed. Adjust the springs and go for another ride and see how it changed.
