The Viking bags are nice, it's just their bullcrap claims that the "hardware specific" is to the bike.. when it's not, its just universal mounting hardware they provide with many of their bags for all different bikes. I think they since change their website since I emailed them giving 'em a mouthful of negative vibes. Additionally they make no mention on the product page that the bags might (certainly do) interfere with passenger begs. At least the 26L "leather" ones do. I ended up making some custom mounting brackets, so the passenger pegs were still useable.
@@MarshOnTwoWheels yeah that is something they should mention. It isn’t on their website anymore though. I will probably never have a passenger so I won’t really worry about that. But I’m sorry you had that issue but I’m glad you were able to solve it.

I watch this video again today. It just dawned on my how close you are to barnesville, Ohio. My father grew up in barnesville. Its been 20 years since i have been in the ohio wv area. Would love to ride there

I'm pondering this exhaust. I have a quick question - did you have to mess with rivets when installing like I see they show that you need on the shorty exhaust? If not, I'm purchasing.
@@JesseAflleje no I didn’t have to mess with any rivets! Very straight forward you just have to cut the gasket off the existing pipe on the rebel where the old oem exhaust is. Love it and one of the best purchases for the bike.
@@therideofalifetime Done. Just ordered. I had my Harley for 2 years and never purchased an exhaust. But I think I'll like this upgrade. Looked at a bunch. Heard the sounds on youtube at least and I think I should like how this sounds. Will definitely like it more that this big ole' factory exhaust.

The ride look amazing.. music was on point.. and your helmet is sick... i have not started riding yet but been practicing and will be taking classes soon... got my heart set on the honda rebel 1100...have fun and stay safe brotha.

The thing about a beginner bike is that what may be good for one person may not be good for another. The main thing is that you shouldn't buy a bike if you aren't comfortable with it.
I had an amazing time! Thank you and your family so so much for your hospitality and great dinner! I'd have to say this whole trip is definitely the best trip I've been on so far. That second part of the ride had me all giddy with those big hills lol. I just couldn't help but to laugh going over those hills.

I didn't know you had put out the route and while on 676 I was trying to keep the people behind me in sight and lost sight of the ones ahead of me. When I got to Marietta I waited for a few minutes and only one guy behind me caught up. Being local I knew how to get to the point, so I ended up just going down Rt. 7.

First of all…I was the 23rd like. If that’s not fate, I don’t know what is. Secondly- dude, ALL the feels watching this from your perspective. I could feel the nerves before the ride, and could feel the relief and full heart when it was done. Feelings I’m all too familiar with 😂 You absolutely knocked this out of the park though man! The ride AND the video. I’ll start looking for cheap used Goldwings now to make our ride there easier next year hahaha much love man 🧡
Dude that’s nuts! There was almost 23 bikes too and 23 Porsches. Can’t wait to ride again with you and Nina at your next meet up! Hopefully I’ll see you guys sooner rather than later! Let me know how the Goldwing works out lol 😂

But it covers it pretty well.

Sorry for the late response but it was roxx risers but they are Harley ones. If you go to Lifeofburch’s channel he has a really well done video with all the links to the hardware. I love mine but I will say it doesn’t work with the Honda batwing. I’m getting ready to change my fair so it will work better with the risers.
Thanks for the video! I bought a 2023 Honda Rebel 1100 DCT as my 1st bike. I am 45 years old and had carpel tunnel so chose to go with a DCT. Hopefully, I will have it by next week!

Just rode to Zanesville Saturday on the Triple Nickel. Ended up getting motion sickness though. I guess I should have slowed down, but the old FJR is just to much fun to ride with a little spirit.

So the mustang sets you more forward?? The corbin allows you to sit back a little further?? What about height wise?? Do you deel upu sit higher on mustang??
@@annehause7118 yes I do feel a little higher on the mustang seat the Corbin for me being a taller rider allows me to sit further back because o my longer arms. It is more comfortable

Man I'd love to go to one of the Burch meet ups but this year after a promotion and having to swap out my own tire there's no way I could've made it this year. Always looks like a good time.
