@@Ismael-cq9ye Yeah, I will worry about the Ukrainians they were being killed by their Government for over 8 years prior to the war. I will worry about the blatant ignorant people through the western world who openly ignore the massive issues of Ukrainian OUN (NAZI) troops actively patrolling regions of Ukraine killing any Ukrainian they feel collaborated with Russian troops, this means the woman and children who took food and medical aid. What is a real shame is the fact Ukrainians view themselves as different people, view Russians as subhuman and teach in their school how Russians are inferior people and evil to the core while Ukrainian are the right true Slavic people. That is what I will worry about. Because as an American you can F-off

Well, they like to invade foreign countries. They enjoy dropping bombs on maternity hospitals and murdering innocent civilians. They have a desire for foreign conquest to prop up their failing country and economy. Russians are serial liars. The very worst of Vladimir Putin's war in Ukraine and what the relentless Russian bombardment has done to the people trapped in the besieged city of Mariupol, can be seen at the Regional Children's Hospital in the nearby city of Zaporizhzhia. In other areas of Ukraine untold numbers of civilians killed, some by torture, and thousands of homes, hospitals, schools and even entire communities destroyed. Other than that the Russians are very fine people.

@@MattandJulia Thanks Julia. Don’t forget there is a Cordon Bleu School very close to the British Museum!! They even have short courses ! Great place to study French Cuisine. I love blinis and pancakes, I even dreamed to start a Crêperie when I first moved to California, but it never took off! One can always dream and may be it was good it never happened as the American market is very fickle. Love to you and Matt ❤️ ps. I love your laughter ! Best wishes !
I love it, Julia. Chopped Liver is one of my favorites. I am 1/4 Ukrainian, 1/4 Romanian, and 1/2 Austrian (and 100% American :-). My grandmother made the best chopped liver. YUM! Sometimes, grandma would add chopped hard-boiled eggs to the mix. OH BOY! I am getting hungry. I saw what you were calling Cottage Cheese. Our Cottage Cheese is really just curds and weigh. I think that looks like possibly what we call Farmers Cheese, which is really just the curds. Am I right? I would love to try to make the crepes. I just wanted to be sure to get the recipe correctly. - Marc

Another lovely relaxing video, and those crepes and buns look delicious. My Gran used to make her own potted shrimps, and when I stayed with my Grandparents as a child, we had them on toast for supper. They were so good. She didn't have a fridge in those days, and kept the jars in the pantry, the spiced butter being the preservative. Unfortunately when Gran passed away she took her recipe with her and I've never tasted the like again. Best wishes to you all from England 🤗🤗🐶

Thank you for sharing the kitchen love with us. Both the berry vatruski and liver crepes/blinis looked amazing! Nothing even comes close to those here in Washington state, but I am originally from Texas where there a blend of many cultures, including Russian in central and south Texas. The closest things in that area of Texas come from a small town named West, where there is a well known Czech community with a family owned bakery that sells kolaches (fruit) like vatruski, and klobasniki (meat) in buns but not crepes. SO good! Matt looked a bit down in K'stan. Hope he gets home to you soon.

Julia your Grandmother reminds me of my Grandmother. My Mother and Grandmother inspired me to become a Chef. I remember making Lemon Curd when I was 4 years old and pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. Once I'd help make a Yorkshire Pudding. It Rose that will it stuck to the top oven. It was inedible. So my Grandmother made a giant pancake and laid over the mashed potatoes and hid the pancake with the gravy and some vegetables. My Grandfather didn't complain one bit. The laughs we had over that throughout the years... I can feel the love through the camera you are one close knit family. This has brightened up my day and everything looked delicious
