    From the first time I tried this recipe following your previous video, this has been my best egwusi recipe. The only thing I don't like is standing there to stir all the time. I have been following you for a while… the building project was more interesting - thank you for those blogs - very honest and open and refreshing to see your journey. As a Ghanaian we cook egusi the traditional way - you know the onion/tomatoes/spices/meat/egyobut today after months I tried this method and if not the fact that my stomach had no space I would have finished the pot!!!     Sister Flo, I must admit that most of our young wives does not know,care or ready to learn your style of cooking with those little details which is important in cooking our Nigerian food. They cook what is sweet and not what is healthy. This is the way to cook real Egwusi soup. Thanks for the video, I know it's been 3years and I am going to start following you.

    We missed you. And yes we’ve been eating more oyibo foods and had to resort to buying from the African shops. The Egusi was not the same. Thankfully I’ve just got a new consignment.

    On my birthday, I plan to make egusi soup the unique way. So an ibo woman suggested okazi leaf for, though l added a little bitter leaf and it was yummy
