Good luck finding someone like her in your life. Life is a joke. 99.9% are miserable in relationships. I play great guitar but will never find anybody like her to play music with.

I never heard Mayer's album, but this is superb. There's something about the simple purity of a voice and guitar that returns a song to its original creation, so often obscured by elaborate productions. Thank you for this.

I see everybody saying how great she is. And yeah, she is... But I truly believe that the real MVP here is the guy on guitar. WOW. Those arrangements are sooooo good. I am seriously speechless.

Thanks. This record is so well orchestrated. Like the D'Angelo record we did, I just tried to distill all the parts into one thing as best I could, picking and choosing what sounded best. We did this on pretty short notice, and it'd been a long time since I'd listened to this, although when it came out in 2006, I devoured it daily. Good records don't leave your bloodstream...

so versatile. Very few can stand on a Broadway stage and rip out those vocals and hold a whole room AND sit on a couch and quietly sing jazzy bits like this. Also, guitar player is great. Saw him on the Dear Prudence duet w/ Haley, great arrangements, great playing, nice harmonies. Morgan is one my favorites for sure.

B Miller I think it’s that it isn’t really much of an accomplishment to do this. Google says Mayer made Continuum as his third album before he was even thirty. That’s a major accomplishment. Covering it is something that is probably done by musicians of similar talent to this in bars and living rooms all over the world. This is not creative, original, or special. The players are very talented, but not singularly so. This thread seems mostly full of gushing fanboys who listen with their eyes. Yet it has a billion likes...
