I so love the concept of being EVEN MORE ourselves once we are in heaven. The closer we are to God, the more we are ourselves, just like God made us, absolutely unique and irripetibile like our soul.

Christy, after the initial seconds of shock, my thought was Jenny is now in her forever home! This is so beautifully expressed. I didn't know Jenny well, we had some conversations in her comments, and a shared love of Varney the Vampire, penny dreadfuls, and Tale of Two Cities among other books. My heart ache right now is for all my booktube friends who are grieving her loss.

This will probably sound stupid and I hope it doesn't come across as petty and disrespectful but ever since I heard the horrible news, I haven't been able to stop thinking of all the books Jenny had been planning to read this year and didn't get the chance to.
