Different circumstances. Learn the rules, people. A doctor stoppage is quite literally when it's the ringside doctor ruling a halt to the fight. A TKO is when the ref calls the fight to a halt. Conor fought out the round, and was then deemed unable to continue by the doctor. Ortega and Aspinall had an immediate problem, causing the referee to stop the fight. Doctor stoppages are exclusively when it's the doctor ending the fight, either between rounds or during it after a check up.

Or you should learn what actually happened. Herb Dean had already stopped the fight. He called in the ringside doctor to check on Conor. Not to help him decide whether to stop the fight. There's no way in hell Herb was ever letting him continue. A doctor stoppage only occurs when the referee is unsure and needs a second opinion.

*I swear haters do NOT know basic rules - McGregors was a Doctor Stoppage.* The fight was stopped between rounds by the doctor ruling. Ortega and Aspinall’s losses were not doctor stoppage because they occurred during the round, and there was no time out (e.g. fighters separated after an eye-poke whereby the doctor would stop the contest if the fighter couldn’t pass the eye test).

Ufc should count it as no contest
