Honest to god, Mr. T trying to move on with the segment and not being able to because he can't stop smiling because of the crowd and Conan just letting it roll because Mr. T deserves every second of adoration? Outstanding.

He appeared appreciatively moved by the audience's rambunctious applause which was why he couldn't help but grin during the stage introduction. For a toughie, T obviously had a sweet engaging smile.

I saw this when it aired live and I never forgot it, the part about the fools coming to T's house. I remembered it clearly, but have not ever seen it since it first aired.. Until now. 20 years later.

This is an under-rated comment. My brother said "Hey, I found a late night funny show with weird sketches." He discovered Conan O'brien. Been an old fan ever since.

I swear Mr.T is just so damn adorable!!!

I remember seeing this Live and thought it was the greatest thing on television at the time. Turns out I was correct.

So wonderful to see the long-lasting cheers, and then the standing ovation for Mr. T's! Best was the last one: "Fools will come to my house to ask me to stop pitying them, but it will be raining and I won't be home ..." I laughed until tears came to my eyes! This was right after seeing Mr. T trying to jump over the T Street bridge, with Coco's comment, "If you are a fool, Mr. T. will pity you." ;-D Coco, you need to return to your roots! We need more sketches like these!!!

Good to note: when Mr. T goes on Letterman, he gets pissed off enough to just stop talking. When Mr. T goes on Conan's show, he can't talk because he's too busy laughing.

Watching Mr. T crack up is literally the best 😂

I hope Conan revises this in his new series and calls it The Year 3000!

Among the best of these. I also loved the remote where T joined them on a hayride.

I remember seeing this when it aired and I couldn't stop laughing every time Mr. T tried (and failed) to contain himself. Did he do more than one "In The Year 2000" segment? I clearly remember a joke about Afghanistan's name being changed to "Ipitytabul".

The Backstreet Boys were admitted to the Burn Unit immediately after this aired. Most of them made a full recovery.

This video was in 1999 and his chains in this video aren't real. He did sell most of his gold for real to cover the cost of some surgeries he had and if my memory serves correct, this Conan show was really his first real comeback after being away from t.v. for a while due to being sick.

This one was, 100% full-stop, from before 2001 at the very least. I know most were before 2000, but a bunch were after just to add to the insanity.

I love how everybody cheered because he said Britney will be Murdered he neglected to add Police will be arrested and will be given a sentence worse than death he will be strapped to a chair and will spend the rest of his life listening to a Britney Spears Song Oopps I did it again at the maximum volume possible he will move to TBS after losing the Tonight Show but will vanish in 2022 and will never host a lateshow ever again people who cant afford cable or sattelite will only see old videos of Conan on youtube or podcast

That must've been the longest applause he's ever gotten
