This skit was aired 2003, so they really never changed the year. If I remember correctly they still did a few more until Conan left.

lol I remember many times it was so funny that even the singing band guy started to laugh while singing that. Once he even has to stop & another time another member/person had to cover for him lol.
Conan, we all love you! I wish this era of the show was back🤔or any of the late night shows. They arent the same as in the late 90s. Ive tried to get back into things, but i dont recognize anyone anymore, nore do i even have the same enthusiam i once did for the people being interviewed and the musical acts, and i cant seem to put my finger on why exactly. I want to still like these shows, cuz i feel like i grew up with them, its like a childhood friend or something..

They started the bit in the 90s... And just kept doing it. He briefly did In The Year 3000 when he did the Tonight Show, but it wasnt quite the same.
I'll never think of shoe horns the same way again.
