Second that sentiment with having a truck as nice as this one. It is better than when it came off the assembly line.
Love the Empire Carpet reference. It took a while to remember the jingle. Wow, been 40 years since the days when we had cable which included WGN.

This may be the first time i watched an advertisement placement in a KZread video, and went "That crafty SOB has been playing the long game with the 'what's in my console' bit, bravo". Truck is nice as well, even if the beltline is taller than my "full sized truck".

I enjoyed that. I just sat and binged this whole series and I simply enjoyed. It was like watching Bob Ross but for mechanics.
The tool names on this channel are the best thing. Ball joint press. Bumper installation tool. Torque wrench, "click". Adjustable hammer. lol
I think the afternoon crew and the pizza Lady are the talent and you are a GNOME roaming around a body shop throwing parts into a pile :) !!!!
You have one nice looking truck Scott. And you repaired it better than when it was new. Appreciate all the videos that you let us see. You are a master in this profession.

I grew up around a body shop, these videos are fun. My dad hated painting too. He never seemed to find a painting gnome that would do good work. Your cars/trucks always look to match perfectly. Most people don't know how easy it is to paint a car, only to pull it out of the shop and realize the panel(s) you painted are a completely different shade, or the metallic in the paint is all wrong. Cheers!
I just don't get the haters BS , Pro level job/humor and very good lookin truck, Been driven Chevys for decades. later from Texas.
Hey Scott, Empire carpet sold carpet up in Wisconsin too. I was sad when I heard that the old guy had passed away. Awesome video as always.

Good afternoon Scott, another excellent looking rebuild. That inspection time is a world record. And pray to God that they don't dump your vehicle off of the inspection hoist. Awesome Job! I just had a body shop realign my drivers door. He had the window down and closed the door to check the fitment. It rattled, and I used your famous saying: "someone's been here before"! Turns out, the dealership that performed a recall neglected to put 5 bolts back after removing them.... and missed a bolt that holds the fuel filler neck to the body (previous owner had an accident, they removed it to fix the body and broke the plastic clip in the process)
