Phyllis and Bucky are gone now. And I discovered them late in their KZread careers, but I'm so glad I did. She was a remarkable woman. So very capable in so many areas. And so emotionally balanced. I think she must have been one of the sanest people I've encountered on social media ever! What a gift her videos are.

I also found Phyllis's channel after her passing. I found it because of her friend Jan Cresson and her channel. I, too, saw Stephen (Phyllis's Son) when he told of her just passing and that Mr Bucky had a short time before her. So very sad I didnt find the channel before that. Everything I've watched of hers makes me miss this kind Lady I didn't get a chance to know. I Love what Stephen and his two children Ben & Bella as Videographers are doing to continue and honor their family. Ben must be back at the Academy and Bella headed off the College the beginning of this week. Such wonderfully grounded and humble souls they all seem to be. God Bless and Rest in Peace, Phyliss & Bucky - I wish I knew you in life.

Phyllis did such a good job on this RV. It's hard to believe this was just a couple years ago. I'm going to miss her so much. I miss Mr. Bucky and his devotionals too.

I am going back and watching some of the videos I missed. Phyllis was so creative. She did an amazing job on the curtains, flooring, and woodwork. I would have never thought to use a bed pillow for the dining room chairs. They look wonderful and I like how she attached them. The finished product is beautiful.

I've been watching some of their videos in shock that they are both gone now. I knew this day would come, but it doesn't make it easier. She sure was an amazing woman. It was a shame that they never did get to use the rv and travel like they wanted to. I know they are in a better place and together forever in Heaven, but so many of us are going to miss them.

I do so wish Phyllis was still with us...I would love to tell her how much she reminds me of my sister,who has also passed away. She remodeled her whole kitchen and dining room and died almost a year to the day from when it was finished.It made me so sad she did not have more time to enjoy it. She made her own curtains and chair covers,etc. I just love Bucky and Phyllis.Such sweet,sweet people!!!

Phyllis, we lived in our Holiday Rambler diesel pusher for 3 years while camp hosting in beautiful Montana. We sold our home in Florida to do this for years, but God changed our plans. We enjoyed our RV living and now settled into a small cottage in Alabama to be near our children and our son dealing with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Our children come first. Your taste is impeccable and your refinishing skills amazing, not to mention your sewing and of course your cooking skills! I would’ve had trouble selling that gorgeous home of yours but being 70 I certainly understand about downsizing and reducing the work involved with upkeep and cleaning! Love your totally calm and laid back attitude about everything. Wish you well and complete recovery.

Beautiful remodel! My husband and I are raising our 3 grandchildren. Their Mom was killed by their Dad in a domestic abuse situation. We already had our RV purchased and it sits out back waiting for us once the girls are off to college. My husband is an RN, and I am in nursing school. We have spent our retirement funds over the last few years since our daughter died, with no regrets because we are just blessed that we can do this for our grandchildren. But once the girls are off to college... we plan on travel nursing our way around the USA...the dream is still alive, just having to be flexible and realistic about money. I love that your remodel is so beautiful yet simple. It gives your RV home an air of tranquility that is palpable. Great job! Hey, maybe we will see you and Mr. Bucky somewhere along the journey! Also, wanted to add, I am so sorry for yours and Mr. Bucky's loss of your daughter Renee. It is difficult because it seems people expect us to get on with our lives...a relative of ours actually said to my husband and me the other day, "ya'll...it's been 2 years now. It's time to get over the depression and get on with your life." And she said it in the presence of our 3 granddaughters we are raising. My heart broke again (bc even though our daughter was my "step" daughter, I loved her deeply and I love and hurt for her dad and her daughters each time some idiot offers up this kind of advise to them.) I do not think we will ever be "over" it, but we do go on. As we must.

My heart goes out to you for your great loss and especially your three granddaughters, having lost their mom. Lots of folks try to offer their helpful advice after the loss of a child, they truly do not understand what you are going through. There is no getting over it no matter how long it has been. We do go on but with a piece of our heart just missing. You are right you just go on with your life. We are getting older now but do still plan on traveling some in the RV. Hope to someday see you on the road, that would be great.

My mother passed away when I was 16, and as hard as it was for me, watching my grandmother deal with the loss of a daughter was very difficult, and yes a piece of the heart that can never be replaced. I know what you mean my brother passed before i was born and every time me or my other brother metion him my mom gets all quiet and my dad will not talk about him at all wont even go to his grave he gets that upset michel that was his name only lived for 7 days and two years later i was born and then two years later they had my brother steve this was back in the 80's

I just found your website and I'm addicted! You two are such a sweet couple. Your cooking is fabulous and gives me such good memories of my childhood in the 50's. My husband passed away in 2014 and my mother in 2016, so as a widow (still working part time) you are an inspiration. God bless you for all you do!

I Rv with a shower just like that. I used a over the door coat hanger for our towels that I picked up for 7.00. You can hang it over the door to keep it out of the traffic flow. It's easy to shift to the side when you go for a shower and put back easily when you hang your towel.
