Dear Phyllis, honey when I'm in an uprising all I have to do is go to your channel. You have the most relaxing voice and demeanor. I can listen to you all day long. I adore you, I wish we were neighbors. I'm sure I'm older than you ! I'm listening to you about negative messages. Sorry people are soooo ugly sometimes. Please know I just found you and I cannot stop watching your videos. I have only seen a portion of your great work. I am 68 and have cooked most of my life but I just love your recipes, your calm voice and clear instructions. I especially love how you keep it simple. The recipes I have tried are wonderful. How so very kind of you to produce these videos and we get such a benefit for FREEEE! I really appreciate your talent, ideas, methods just everything. Richard. that's how trolls get their jollies...by harassing people. It's how they live and breathe. A good thing to remember is for someone to truly insult you, you must first have to respect them. A person leaving bullying comments to an obviously lovely woman who is taking the time to share her expertise obviously does not deserve respect; therefore, it means nothing. Phyllis, the pile--on you speak of is what I refer to as 'mob mentality' and it is for weak minded people. Keep on keeping on, Phyllis!

A viewer told me she found my channel because of this video - so, first thank you so much for watching and being a Friendly!!! (yay). and second, for mentioning me in this video. finally, - thank you for this important video. The types of comments you read are exactly what I've experienced. Isn't it amazing what people will find to criticize and complain about? (you wasting the apple and water and being told you're not a good Christian is just ridiculous). I just had a 'well meaning' commenter go through a 10 minute video and count how many times I said 'um' and then write a long comment about how distracting it is. LOL. I've learned to feel sad that their lives are so small and empty that all they have is their anger to hold on to, because that's what it is , internal anger, self-hate or jealousy they don't recognize and so much lash out at those who trigger some complex within them. Anyway.. this is too long of a comment. You rock lady.. Love your channel and subbed. Keep on being YOU!

It might be a long comment, but it's a great one, Carolyn!! I don't know what it is wrong with these people today...i really don't...but, it needs to stop...I love watching all the cooking and baking and homesteading videos on KZread, as well as some others too and it is depressing to see so many people nitpicking!! They just need to change the channel if they don't like something they are seeing. I know a few people were complaining about Phyllis using a spoon one time on here...I didn't say anything, but I thought, how petty can a person be...if it bothers you, change the channel...it's just that simple. I am sad to say, I didn’t see this video until now, after Miss Phyllis passed away. I’m binge watching them now. I wish I had seen this video when she made it, so that I could have told her how much I LOVE watching her! Mr. Bucky too! The absolute LOVE they have for one another, is palpable!!! Miss Phyllis is so adorable!! I love the way she speaks, I love her wisdom and her sense of humor!! And it just cracks me up when she gets sassy😊😁😜when listening to her speak, she reminds me of my Mother-in-law, who passed away in 2005. She was a Southern Beauty also from Arkansas. Phillis, I say " YOU GO GIRL" . I watched this video , and laughed, and agreed all way through. I really like the way you think. In most of your videos you say ,this the way I do it. I really enjoy ALl the ones I see. Especially the old ones your Mother made , the product you buy and recommend. I've learned so much from you . I love the little extra things you tell about yourselves. Please don't let the nasty things these LITTLE people say influence you in any way. PLEASE don't change. If they don't like your comments , they can do as I do. If I see someone I don't like, I just delete them. Some people are just miserable and can’t help but leave negative, nasty comments which is sad in my opinion. Phyllis was very gracious in how she responded to those negative posts, much more so than the way I would have responded. However, there are no haters, bullies or trolls in heaven, so Miss Phyllis doesn’t have to deal with any of that anymore.❤️😊

Linda Wood I totally agree just the way she showed how to peel a hard boiled egg was so helpful, I made 12 of the best looking deviled eggs and got so many complaints about them, all the thanks goes to her.

I would have loved to have had a mother like you, was adopted into a abusive situation! Nothing gets me down now ! Great husband 3 wonderful kids overcame it all......God Bless You and your family !

Ladies your not looking at it right. When I look in the mirror I figure I earned every one of these wrinkles. Some of them from laughing, some from frowning, but not one of them is exactly like the next. Yes even my wrinkles show my uniqueness. Aside from the fact that I've lived long enough to acquire them in the first place.

Miss Phyllis you are a riot. I was cracking up toward the end thinking of certain people tuning in LOL. I've often called social media comment sections a cesspool. I really try to avoid them most times. If I do get compelled to read I am always astounded at the amount of downright hatred typed out. You hit the nail on the head with this video. It has always perplexed me as to why some are so driven to be so darn mean and nasty. And it can happen to anyone. Once I commented on a news article on Facebook... it was literally " this makes me so sad" and someone from left field replied directly to me that they hoped I was sterile and couldn't produce more children like me. Well, needless to say that stung quite a bit. Probably from the fact that I never was blessed with being able to have children. I was so very upset .. then I got really mad. I know there is no way they could have known that. But, that's the problem .. you have no idea how badly you can hurt someone with your little keyboard tirade. It took every ounce of strength I had not to reply. I knew that would be giving them exactly what they were looking for. I've been a moderator and admin on many forums over the years. They all lost their popularity once Facebook, KZread and Twitter took hold. But, our number one rule on all of them was "Don't Feed The Trolls" It's hard to do sometimes .. but well worth it ;) As for the rest .... Well, I had no idea there were as many ''experts'' in this big old world until comment sections. Some folks just seem to know it all from what to feed your cat, to what to dress your child in, to what medicine you put on your sore toe and if you don't do it their way .. you are wrong lol ... well okie dokie. Anyhoo ... sending a big thank you for all you do. I don't know if you get told this enough but, you have taught me so much. I can now at 53 finally make a decent pie crust! LOL and I just love reminiscing with you about the days gone by. As you said about Carolyn's videos I say about yours. I love to just listen to you. I know that You Tube Celebrities have to develop a thick skin.....they shouldn't have to, but people are SO jealous, they just can't stand other people's popularity and success. Good thing you are wise enough to see through their shenanigans. I have to admit I made a negative comment on someone's channel the other day. I couldn't help it, he just got my goat so bad I couldn't help myself. It is a very popular channel where his little girl is very rapidly becoming a star! She has been on Ellen's show and several other places. Well this Dad ADORES his daughter. We all do. She is precious and talented. What got to me is he recently was gone on a trip. He brought his precious daughter back 3 gifts and his younger son 1 gift. I noticed, but it was not until his son tried to kiss him and he turned his face away from that child THREE times ! I replied that he should let that child kiss him and talked about my father kissing all his boys. It was none of my business, but it made me sad to see that little boy keep trying three times to kiss his Dad kept turning his face away. Of course one of his "fans" jumped on me and said "some men are not comfortable kissing anyone but their spouse, including their children". I said "well we wouldn't want anything to make Dad "uncomfortable". AND, it has gone on and on. I really dont care. I am not a troll, and it is very rare I leave anything but very nice comments, but this time I just lost my cool, and I am not sorry I did. He needs to know his playing favoritism is not OK, and you just dont reject a child's kisses! There may just come a day he would give anything in the world for them, and they might not be available. Sorry about the rant. I am losing it again just thinking about it.

Oh honey, how I wish I had the gift of a parent like you when I was a little one/growing up. Maybe those other people didn't like your observation, but truth is too many of us come from horrible backgrounds. This may seem like a "small thing" yet to a child, our parents are our world. Thanks from a now old lady who will bear the scars of a cold, rejecting, skin-blistering critical parent to my death. That Legacy stops with us and how we treat our own children-in fact, *all* children. Bruises fade. Broken bones mend. Burns scar over. It is the psychological/emotional neglect and abuse that leaves the longest demands. Thank you for speaking up.

Hi Phyllis, I do hope you & Mr. Bucky are both well. Today is only the third day since I discovered your channel, as I watch a little bit from time to time. However, I soon came to realise that you not only do cooking & smoothies videos. All I will say to you, Phyllis, is ignore the naysayers! They are just in the world to take up space. Doing nothing with their lives but being a nuisance. That's one reason I don't listen to radio talk shows, where ppl call in to give their opinions on a particular subject. Many of them is like they have nothing better to do when the day comes! The amount of bs that comes out the their mouths the moment they open it is unbelievable, to say the least. I am appalled that ppl were so rude and unkind to someone such as you. Don't be bothered by them, dear lady. You keep deleting them! I would have been glad to have had you as my Boss Lady, back-in-the-days, when I was working. I would've gleaned so much wisdom & knowledge from your life experiences. Yes, I love watching these videos because they're very calm, informative and her cooking reminds me of my mother's cooking. Phyllis is full of great information.

There are too many people that think that us christians have to allow people to trample over us and abuse us, and that is VERY wrong. My Pastor says "you are a christian, but you need to stand up for yourself and defend yourself!" I am glad that you made this video, and that you have the courage to stand up for yourself.

So, so, so right. They get progressively worse and worse. They get 'too' familiar and think they can say whatever they want to you like it's their right to make you understand all their opinions about you. Lord, have mercy.

Thank you Phyllis! I agree with you! There's other you tube channels I like to watch, and they too block negative people. And I like that! It's a bummer to read a negative comment under somebody's video! I really love positive people and that's what we all want in life, is positive not negative energies around us! 👍💖🙋🏻

Hi Ms. Phyllis I am a new subscriber I found your channel just a few weeks ago. First of all my condolences to you. I wrote a comment on that sad news video about Mr. Bucky😞. I am watching all your videos and love them all. Just watched this one. You are right those haters are still watching you under burner accounts and there is a good chance that many of those mean comments were made by just a few people with burner accounts to make it look like different people. You are an amazing person and you are a 100% right in everything you said. Be encouraged that your YT family loves you and we will be here when you are ready to come back on. @@cathyslaton9998 I believe this commenter was complimenting Miss Phyllis, as to say SHE was not being unChristian or rude in the video itself,not speaking of any rude comments not being there. I can be wrong, of course, but maybe you could read it again with that perspective. Naturally, the commenter should clarify it for you themself, but just giving my 2 cents. 😁

listen I watch this sweet lady that crafts beautiful books and I just loved watching her . One day she came on with her team of crafters live and she was crying. Apparently she and her teammates had some haters that tried to ruin them. I was in shock. I couldn't believe that there were people that did this sort of thing. It was like adult bullies. I had no idea how ugly people could be. I don't understand why they don't just move along if they don't like what they are viewing. Anyway...thank you for spotlighting this problem. Hey I also follow Carolyn. She's great and now her and Bob are coming to Florida. Yeah.

Miss Phyllis I just want to say you are such a sweet lady and I live your channel and watch every day but I didn't gear what had happened when apoluceman pulled you over or had his lights flashing I want to tell you what happened to a cousin if a friend she saw in her rear view nuerie that a vehicle wurh a fkasgung light was behind her she pulled over unfortunately he was not a police officer but a person that had the light on his dash and was harrasin her she is a blonde young and cure well come to find out this dude was just out of prison and bought this flashing light on line or somewhere but she did call 911 and thus guy has stopped other girls and got them in his vehicle took them out if her area has been arrested for misleading a n iffucer and rape so she was lucky he didn't take her out of her vehicle and take her out somewhere I guess he is back in prison for trying to be a policeman and bdilt harn with rape

I'll admit, I was a little taken back by the apology thing, but my first thought was not that you were being mean or unChristian, but that there must be more to the story. Being a Christian doesn't mean being a doormat and letting people step all over you. Forgiving someone doesn't mean excusing their behavior. I'm thankful that God put Mr. Big Guy behind you to keep you safe! Carry on, and don't let the haters get you down!

My wife and I have been watching you for months! Before I go to work I watch. On my lunch break I watch you. Before we go to sleep we watch you. We love you, Mr. Buckey and the dogs. I've mentioned before in comments that you remind me of my Momma and her sisters. We watch because of your wisdom and knowledge. Because of you we've started drinking smoothies, learned we could freeze ANYTHING, we've bought kitchen gadgets that you've suggested. We are currently are preparing to purchase an upright freezer. We've even purchased a sheepskin duster❤. I say all of this to saw WE LOVE MS. PHYLLIS!!! The few times I've read a not so nice message I tell my wife "I would fight somebody for Ms. Phyllis and Mr. Buckey!!"
