I am 28 minutes into this video, and I cannot believe how good this tutorial is. You are knowledgeable, good at explaining and funny. I am going really slow as I am taking notes and practicing what I am learning, but I just wanted to let you know that this is one of the best tutorials I have ever watched. Congratulations on such an excellent work!

Wow. Never in my life had I seen such a complete tutorial. It really helped me get a grip on the basic concepts of Krita, as well as some of the more complicated ones. Thank you so much; I can't wait to start using both my drawing tablet and Krita properly after seeing this video.

You never have to apologize about you accent and English skills, both are wonderful! Thank you so much for this tutorial/guide. It is rare to find videos on KZread that have any length to them. This length of video allows us to stay focused instead of bouncing around all over KZread. No more watching videos 5-15min in length that repeat the same information over and over. Merci beaucoup!

I had just installed Krita and was looking for a quick tutorial. When I saw this one I was like "YIKES! It's 3 hours long!" But I started watching in bits and pieces and I'm really glad that I did. I was using Autodesk for a long time and my drawings/paintings were just so amateurish that I gave up. I decided to try again and so watched this. I'm grateful for this and made a lot of notes. Thank you!

Most artists that I've worked with in the past have 0 formal training so keep your head up high. I recently started graphic design because of my colleagues in web development, I was always good at painting and pencil sketches as a hobby but I had 0 experience in digital art. Hence why I am here

I've been using krita for years and never learned I could do half the keyboard shortcuts shown here. Absolutely lovely tutorial, I learned lots!

39:04 the shortcut for filling the foreground colour is shift + backspace

This isn't a tutorial, it's more like a complete course, packed with amazing info!

You can Ctrl+Click on the little image next to the layer and it is gonna select everything visible on that layer.

Great job with the video tutorial! Informative and very helpful for beginners in digital painting software like myself. There are so many tips and tricks for using Krita which I simply couldn't find on my own and you manage to cover all the basics in one tutorial. Time to get to practicing them!

Tbh, I was a bit reluctant to start the video - my focus isn't that great and I can't pay attention to classes that are hours long, usually. But I decided I could split it in parts, if I needed to, so I gave it a shot and that was the best decision I've made. I'm not even half way there yet, but I managed to learn so much already that I felt the need to write a comment. I had been learning how to use Krita for a couple of days, but there's a few details that I think it'd take months, at the best, for me to find out without your help.
