What I like about Monarch : Legacy of Monster series is Instead trying to make Kurt Russell looks younger with CGI, they actually casting his real life son, Wyatt to play a younger version of him. Probably the CGI budget goes to the monsters.

One thing I found super funny about "They have been here all this time" is "Oh we forgot that Godzilla exists" like, how can you forget the massive territorial laser firing dinosaur?

This is the true timeline of the Monsterverse that I was looking for, it is very well explained and structured, and thank you for adding the comics that are canon, especially Godzilla Aftershock and Muto Prime, whose participation was of vital importance, this comic Like the others, except for Godzilla Awakening, they are still canon because they are much more than just additional material and their stories connect very well with the films and also answer many details and questions that cannot be seen in their films.

I clicked so fast 😅 Love the Monsterverse and love your videos. I have probably seen the Terminator ones a thousand times 😅

Its crazy to think that Kongs world and understanding of the hollow earth and Apex monsters etc are all new to him... he never once traveled through he always was fighting for the island. Him and Godzilla are protecting the humans. ALSO Godzilla keeps the peace with the titans, they both have there role for us. As King and as God.

Very impressed with this layout and timeline. Love the Monsterverse love that it’s doing something telling a story. Even though I did like the Monarch Show was a fan of the past stuff and present stuff not so much. Lookin forward to Godzilla X Kong and see where it goes after that. But a missed opportunity we should’ve gotten was a Godzilla and Pacific Rim crossover where their fighting Kaiju’s together

We see it for the monsters. In the MCU the main characters are human or similar that have emotions and stories we can attach our own lives and experience to

@@darthfishimouse agree, in monster verse movies we care less about characters, hence the regular change in casting. There are a few that I care about such as Jia and Dr Serizawa (Maddie is annoying) I remember when Dr Graham died, she was barely acknowledged. It’s all about the monsters. Lol

I have watched all of the movies from the 2014 Godzilla to now I haven't watched the TV show but I've watched all the movies and now watching this video everything makes so much sense now shout out to you man

If you think about it, we now have Quicksilver, The Scarlet Witch, Walter White, Loki, Captain Marvel, Nick Fury, Eleven, Tarzan, Solid Snake, US Agent and one of the Dale Brothers (Step Brothers) all in the Monsterverse. Its crazy

Unfortunately, this comic is no longer canon, not only did it serve to promote the 2014 Godzilla movie, they also did this comic without having the clear idea of creating a universe and that is why Awakening present many doubts and inconsistencies with the films and the truly, this comic deserved to be released long before the Monarch series came out.

The fact that the monster verse and the mortal kombat universe and the DC universe exist all in one mess is mind-blowing 😂

Great video. Lifelong Godzilla fan. I used to rent Godzilla 1985 on vhs around ‘87-‘88 and my poor parents had to deal with me watching it at least 50 times. 😂 I personally didn’t care much for Godzilla x Kong but this video really has me excited for the Monarch tv series.

The only explicit mention he gets after "Birth of Kong" is in "Godzilla: Aftershock" when Emma Russell tells Houston "you found your son", so it seems implied Houston was able to rescue him. And thank you! Enjoy the movie!! I'm seeing it Friday

Thank you for this, especially the in-depth analysis of Legacy of Monsters. The first few episodes were really good imo. But after the 5th or so episode, the constant time jumps left me really confused and the drama between the characters just got pretty boring midway through the season. I know the show ends with Godzilla fighting that ion dragon and that time jump with the hollow earth portal, but I really couldn't force myself to finish the show. As cliché as destroyah would be as a Thanos figure in the mv I think it would work very well with proper execution and maybe for the next few movies build up a good mix of toho and original monsters if at all possible I wouldn't mind seeing space godzilla
