Companion Planting with Nasturtium | Edible Flower Gardening

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Want to grow your own Nasturtium? Here's why you shouldn't just grab a plant on your next hike.
This edible flower is a great addition for your gardens, and it can be a tasty addition to your next meal too! The flowers, leaves, and even the seeds are all edible.
It's a great way to add color to otherwise barren areas of your yard, and it will also re-seed so you don't have to worry about it every season.

I'm starting a july garden with only your seeds and I'm so excited! Ive got okra, sweet corn, squash, pole beans, already sprouting! Also nasturtium, cucumbers, watermelon, and shishito peppers that have yet to sprout. Any tips or tricks for my new garden? I know its maybe a weird month to start a new garden but I have so much extra time now and I don't want to mess it up! Thanks for the seeds!

This stuff took over my raised bed BEFORE I have been able to plant any vegetables! I’ve already pulled it all up once and now it’s coming back and growing all over the bed. The strange thing is that there’s been seeds all over the place as if it was confetti. Help! What should I do to grow vegetables and herbs there with this wild plant dominating?

What do they taste like? I tried some from a wild plant once, and I wasn't too crazy about it.

They do not repel cucumber beetles but they can attract natural predators to the garden which will feed on them. Here is more information. ipm.ucanr.edu/PMG/r116300511.html

The tend to be much more vine like and aggressive in growing. Flowers are dominantly yellow/orange.
