Video is amazing in all regards of filming/editing but yeah. Gonna get cleaned up by some wack driver one day and a helmet would at least help in a small situation. Keep up the sweet work!

used to be that and bicycle, but people got lazy and want motorized so they do not have to work.

It's crazy how much faster you actually go through traffic when you're not in a car and you're always in momentum😊

You had me spinnin' and reelin' I can't believe how insanely perfect you timed every milisecond...cobblestone, cracks, uneven pavement...you flowed over everything like you were water. You need some music 'Can't touch this...' or something, lol, deep respect for your skills!!

But would wearing a helmet take anything away from the video? Just like riding a motorcycle you can be the best rider on the road but you have no control over other people.

Seriously, just the concept of this channel is enough to get people to watch.

I longboard to commute everyday and I have my moments slinging myself around poles, going through grass around pedestrians, and hitting board slides, but THIS. This is a whole other level of steeze that's both raw and graceful. Im subbing 🤘

Dude I used to skate those same streets. Loved it. Except the couple of times a taxi door would open and wreck me. I skated agro skates, so your speed on those is insane! I was just telling my friend I wish skates were a thing again. Great video!

I used to do this back when roller skates were still popular in the mid 90s. I used to be a daredevil on those things. I will put some korn or deftones and I'll be in my own world. It wasn't NYC but where I lived is or is one of the most densely populated cities in the USA, union city NJ, I can't believe now that I never got seriously hurt. This video makes want to again pick up the hobby.

This brings back memories. I use to do this to commute back and forth to lower Manhattan from the Bronx for work when the Rollerblades first came out in the early 90s. I hated taking trains and buses. Just rollerblades and my walkman and I was set. People thought I was nuts and shocked because they never saw Rollerblades on the east coast yet. Fun times and a great workout. Wish I had the selfie cam back then would be cool to see now.

I'm from the country in Kentucky, me and my wife talk about wanting to go to NYC sometime. But riding blades and BMX through the traffic looks like so much fun to me.

Are soft boots no good? I use large velcro wrap to help lock them more like a solid boot , Which makes staying centered way easier, im fairly new , just wondering if i should not bother with softs and just get a hard boot and be done with it

Man I'm a nature guy and I've never felt home in a city. Been a long time, but I absolutely love shredding through a city on wheels under my own power though. That flow state you feel was always thrilling for me.
