Im a bass player and i actually think these kinda drum rhythm videos are better for learning and practicing more than most bass videos. with the addition of youtubes magical playback speed button you can do different tempos.

bass players and drummers are best friends in most bands cuz they help each other
All right, guys, now serious - this is gold of the gold of the gold. And this channel is a gold mine for beginners, replaces dozens of books. Fact.
This is thorough. As soon as I saw this, I sent it to one of my students. This will help particularly with him breaking through the wall of 16th notes. Thank you so much!

Awh man that was so much fun. Messed up a LOT towards the end but still🙌🙌
I just mimed the movements because I'm waiting for my drum. I gotta say this encourages me to get going on learning music. I'm 51 years, and I'm the only one in my household that doesn't play instruments.

I love that, never too late to start!
Don't forget to add some change to this and adjust the playback speed to get better at slower and faster tempos. You can also try something new by flipping the sticking patterns. Have fun, get better, add creativity and challenge yourself to improve daily!

Thanks a ton for this! I’m gonna be on Marimba for our homecoming piece this year and a lot of the measures had some dotted and syncopated rhythms mentioned in this video. Would’ve been WAY harder to dissect if I didn’t know how to count them 😅
