Whether you're a beginner or seasoned musician, learn to interpret sheet music confidently and enhance your performance.
This video features whole notes (semibreves), half notes (minims), quarter notes (crotchets), eighth notes (quavers), sixteenth notes (semiquavers), dotted eighth-notes, and rests. The tempo starts at 90 BPM and decreases to 60 BPM as the difficulty of the rhythms increases.

    This is bringing back my ptsd from high school band. I wish I had this back then. Maybe I would have learned to sight read.

    Being able to see each beat in a measure can be helpful, but when you’re actually sight reading on paper - it’s a luxury you won’t have. It would be nice to have one where you have to use your internal metronome, it’s a great exercise.

    I agree, and when I started this channel I never used to include the highlighter in my videos for this reason. Most people seem to prefer it with the highlighter though. Maybe I'll do some without it again!

    @@hyusisns no, it sounds yarsh. And varying the drum sounds would also be more realistic and less monotonous
