This channel is dedicated to sharing a myriad of creative tidbits & information, new ideas and maybe some different twists on old ones about junk journaling, altered books, glue books, watercolor, and all kinds of other paper crafts related to those things. It’s geared for new junk journalers, but everyone’s welcome to play along. So, please: pull up a seat, find something delicious to drink and let’s hangout for a bit.
PLEASE NOTE: these videos are made for adults by an adult who values strong language (once in a while, that means the use of profanity). As a college English professor & writer: I don’t believe there’s any such thing as a “bad” word 🤓. On the other hand, I do believe whole-heartedly (and am quite fluent) in sarcasm & sass 🦀. Hey there Ker! 💜💚🖤 Wow I love all of these new creative projects you are diving into. That Fantasyland book turned watercolor relaxation journal is amazing! (glad you saved the Sleeping Beauty/Maleficent pages!) Your limited palette color choices are gorgeous and it’s amazing how even though each page is totally different they all came from the same colors. Those flowers! Wow… love the playful inkwork throughout. And the paw prints! Each one is unique and the salt effect is stunning. Slow stitch and crochet as well?!?! Look at that adorable puppy! Can’t wait to see the progress as you add more details to it. Transforming those hot mitts into a slow stitch grab ‘n go booklet of sorts - what a great idea. You sure have been busy over there my friend! Loving it all and always looking forward to seeing what you’re up to next! Yeah, you know, bc I don't have ENOUGH going on, may as well start a few new things 🤪 why not??? The hot pad-to-needle -book is totally from watching one of Janet's videos. I have a habit of looking all over the desks and rooms of the videos I watch, nosy nosy nosy. Some things never change, lol. As I'm sure you've noticed, I START a lot more things than I finish hahahahah, so please, don't wait with bated breath. I'd hate for you to pass out for lack of oxygen 🤭 Isn't Skippy great? Remember the Great Dane/lab mix pup, Bronson, video of a few weeks back (chasing his tail)? That's Skippy's new "little"/younger brother. I also started throwing down watercolours, inspired by @bycreativepaula So fun Your paw prints are adorable. ❤😊 I also have that very same Disney book (somewhere 😅) Im really enjoying learning about and playing with watercolours. Skipper Dippins is my cousin's rescue. If you remember the big lug, pup Bronson (black lab/Great Dane mix) at the end of a recent video, Skippy is Bronson's older brother, lol. I can see that slow stitching could be very addictive. That's just what I need, another heap of projects in the works, ugh. Sew cute, I see what you did just there 😂🤣😂
Doing what you love for money leading to burnout…this is why I have not wanted to have an Etsy shop and sell journals that I make. I don’t want or need a business at this stage of life and all that would entail. All I have ever wanted with my channel is to share my process with others because I have benefited and learned from what others have shared. If people like what I do…great; if it’s not for them, that’s fine too. The joy for me is solely in the making. I have been drooling over Wendy’s (@willawanders) watercolor for relaxation journal for some time now and love her limited palette choices. And I love the #thisinspiredme idea. There are so many talented people out there who give us ideas. It is good to give them credit and encourage them. Also, it doesn’t take much effort to like or comment on a video and it does let people know you appreciate their effort at sharing. Malificent and 101 Dalmatians your favs…no surprises there.🤣😂 Keep sharing…you inspire me. ❤️

I couldn't agree more, at this point, if it's no fun or too complicated, I don't have time for it, lol. There has to be SOME benefit for getting this far, hahahahaha. As soon as I saw Wendy's video, I knew I HAD to have one and do that, it's so awesome. I put off making it for some time bc I thought it would be difficult. It really wasn't that difficult at all, nor as time-consuming as I expected it would be. Feel free to use the #thisinspiredme if you're inclined to do so. I think we can all share, we're all here for the same thing: ideas and inspiration. Why not spread the wealth? Seems if one does well, we all do. Thank you for the kind words, makes a big difference. As I've said, your process and use of your journals are THE BEST answer to the always-asked question: "Yeah, but what do you DO with a junk journal?" I always point them in your direction. I really like your friend's work too (JunkJournalJourney51 (?) So many great ideas and it's wonderful to see the journals being used. I'm really glad you started your channel, you're inspiring all of us too. Here's to fun and creativity with friends 🥂☕️☕️ 🍻
