I have going a "treehouse" gluebook, it's shaped like a tree house and each spread has a different area or room. The last one that I'm having difficulty with is the pink room furniture. It's supposed to be my granddaughters room and I haven't found any "girlie" girl pink room type furniture YET. I keep searching though. One I just thought of, that I might do some day, just things that make me happy, for no reason, particular theme, just things that I see that make me happy. I need more happiness in my life, perhaps having a gluebook of things that make me happy will help me with my desire to be happy.....

The tree-house is an awesome project, nice and different. I love it. I know it's nowhere near the fun of finding just the right stuff in magazines and it may feel like a bit of a cheat, but when Amy and I were having trouble finding "winter" for our Seasons gluebook collaboration, we took to the internet and picked great stuff out. As you find and collect girly pink furniture there, my bet is you'll start to see it in other places too, then you'll have more than enough. YESSSS! Things that make you happy/just because. A wonderful idea. Those are magical to make and to flip through too. Why wait? Start gathering those things today and get started. A great way to end busy days or to start off hectic mornings. 💫 Something from my other channel ( www.youtube.com/@pcutheuniverse-ityofideasklm ) Happiness is a choice. It often seems we're at the mercy of our minds or the world, but we always, ALWAYS have a choice in how we think, what we let into our heads, what we DECIDE to focus on. I think a glue book is the PERFECT vehicle for vision boards: filling them with the things we WANT to see MORE of in our lives (things that make you happy, just because). I always have one or two going and try to dip in at least several times a week to remind me that it's all up to me and I can most certainly get there if I focus on the right things, think the right stuff...Another thing that may help with upping the happiness factor is start a WAG More journal (just writing if you'd rather) at the end of each day list out three things that made you Wonder, be in Awe of or Giggle that day...or three things that went right (a REALLY good cup of coffee, the smell of fresh rain in the air, hearing a great quote...) the more you track it, the more you'll start looking for, and NOTICING, the more you'll see. Miles in the way of feeling better on a regular basis ✨

Thank you also for taking the little bit of extra time to give me a few suggestions to help with being happy. In this day and age, so many are in such a rush to get through the day with what they are doing, I don't think we always realize that time is a gift you can give that costs nothing. I am doing a Rooms glue book! And almost everything I do is bonkers, so ya know...bonkers Rooms 😝 And random, I do random too. I haven't tried theme books yet, I am actually a bit intimidated to do a colors or alphabet theme....I think the theme may bore me? Dunno...thanks for the therapy via your comments section! 😂 TFS! 💜

I know I say this every time....but your channel name---LOVE IT!!!Bonkers is fun...random can rule for sure. I keep wanting to do a "rooms" gb but my brain starts to melt when I attempt it. I'm very literal, though I really really love the idea of it, I can't seem to make it happen. Others' rooms projects fascinate me. For me, themes are part of the challenge. The more constraints, or rules, the more creative one has to be. And I like the thrill of the hunt for "things that begin with 'K'" or "smiling dog pics". Right now I am on the hunt for pictures (old, new, real, painted, illustration --whatever) of dachshunds for a small dachshunds journal/gb. You're ever so welcome, kvetch away here. this is the only social media I do, so the comments are big fun for me. Thanks so kindly for spending some time here 🤓🦀🌊

I don’t do butterflies or birds or flowers hardly ever, I agree there seems to be trends just like in anything I guess. I have not watched the apple show you were discussing, however, how can we expect children or young adults to assume responsibility and admit they’ve been wrong when the examples (parents, politicians, etc etc) they are seeing are not doing it? I’m not saying I’m giving them passes, but when I look around at what’s happening in our world it’s frightening. And as far as consequences, ha!!! That seem to be thrown out with the bath water. 🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀. I may make a crabby, bitchy glue book 🤣🤣🤣. Have a great weekend. (Love watching you do your glue books)

Ohhh yes!!! It's been good crabby fun my Grumpy Glue book, very therapeutic. A Bitchy Glue Book--YESSSSS! Like Amy's "Bitch a Day" calendar!! So fun. My Little Book of Bitchy. Or, my BIG Book of BITCHY...🤔 I LOVE it!! Good points all, why bother with being a decent human when precious few others seem to be making the effort. And again, they can't teach what they don't know. So we have to "blame" the generations before them who stopped parenting their kids, never grew up themselves and started being their kids' bff's instead. I don't like people who have tattoos all over their faces to me that's scary and gross. Great idea for a glue book.but not for me.

Yeah, it's a ridiculous trend. So stupid. But I think that lady has ink, that will wash off, rather than tattoos on her face (and her kid's face). Well, the whole point is NOT to do what everyone else is doing...do your own idea of weirdness. Or quirky. Or "strange and unusual" or peculiar...These are only ideas to help get people to explore different things. Or not.
