I'm stuck in Afghanistan right now due to COVID - I should have been home month's ago, I hope and pray next month will be the month I get to go home. Are you kidding me right now. So I’m at work which everyone knows me as A tough guy here and l had to get up and leave cause you caused me to cry from the Spirit within you three. So I get the usual You Tube notification that u have a new video. So I open it up and listen and instantly feel the Spirit as I do often through your Angelic voices. Being a father of three girls and one son I can’t stop but think how proud your parents must be of you. Not just for your singing talents , but for each of you girls to serve a two year LDS mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. Your example is something To be so proud of. I know our Heavenly Father is so extremely proud of each of you and Your future is so bright. Stay strong in your thoughts actions and doings. I was sitting here crying way before they even got to the song, and I wondered why. I know that I feel the spirit, but to start crying when I just opened the video? SoI 'm in the military and I have been out in Korea for almost a year and missing my home and family like crazy to the point of being depressed. This song has such a sweet spirit and tone to it. Angels on earth, I testify that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the Lord's church here on earth and He is coming soon for his Saints.

Songs like this make me look back at my time in the church. I learned so many things that I still use in my every day life and I'm grateful I had at least a couple pantry staples. Really this year we're all searching for peace and purpose. Plus the whole Covid mess has made me a shut in due to underlying health conditions so it's harder and now we're in snow season. During all of this I was able to see a couple of baptisms via a Zoom meeting which blessed me.

Every time I start slipping in my faith and struggling in this trying life, I listen to this song and their other hymns and I feel the comfort of my savior and the guidance of the Holy Ghost. I’ve always been active in the church but haven’t always appreciated or done as much as I could. A few years back when I first heard this song I was contemplating going inactive. I hadn’t felt close to the gospel and wasn’t really living up to it as much as I could of. After hearing this song, I remembered that I am a child of god and that he loves me no matter my flaws. That he loves me regardless of what sins I have made and no matter how small or big. That he will never forsake me if I don’t forsake him. This song is the reason I stayed active. The reason I chose to go through the temple and take out my own endowments. Because of this song, I was able to renew my faith and work on my personal spiritual experiences and closeness with my savior and Heavenly Father for two years. Those two years were some of the hardest and the best years of my life. After two years of challenges and sacrificing many of the things I used to love more than the gospel (games, movies, tv shows, music, etc.), I was able to go through the temple and take out my own endowments on my birthday in February of this year. One month before COVID caused the temples to shut down. I wouldn’t return any of the challenges I had getting to this point in my life and in my faith for anything in the world. They are what made me the person I am today. They are what shaped my faith in my savior, in his gospel, and my new perspective on life. I know that I have been blessed because of my decision to become fully active again and to go through the temple. I have been blessed in more ways than I count and I know it wouldn’t have been the case had I not fully returned to my Heavenly Father, my savior, and their gospel. I know that this church is true and that the gospel is true. I know that with a burning desire and knowledge. I’m 21 and haven’t shared my testimony since I was 8. I didn’t plan on sharing this much of my testimony but that is what has happened and I know it is something I need to do. Not only for myself but for anyone who reads this and who may need to hear it. I hope that if you are struggling with your faith and your testimony of the church and our savior, that my testimony will help you in whatever capacity that might be . I hope that it gives you hope or reminds you of some of the things I have remembered and learned throughout the past 3 years. I hope it helps you in whatever way you may need help in now. And I hope you all know that you are children of God and that he loves each and every one of you no matter what.
