If you want to read the Hannibal Lecter books in order, you may want to read Red Dragon first. I don’t believe it’s necessary, just thought I’d give you a heads up.
Those are some good picks. Since you mentioned you're waiting to read Light Bringer, I started it today and it's really good. I was listening to the audiobook at work and then reading the eBook version at home. I think you'll like where the story goes.

Dead Man's Walk is a great place to start, followed up by Comanche Moon. Lonesome Dove is brilliant and is quite possibly my favorite reading experience. I have yet to read the final book in this series, Streets of Laredo. My reluctance is due to how much I adore Lonesome Dove and feel anything afterward would pale in comparison. Nonetheless, it will likely be read before the end of the year. Enjoy your book haul brother!

I like watching you because you have a lot of fantasy, sci-fi, etc. I just finished Carve the Mark & The Fates Divide by Veronica Roth. Those are YA/Sci-fi, but honestly so good! I know a lot of people hated how Veronica Roth ended the Divergent series, but I loved it and took a chance on another series i found by her here in a thriftstore. BET!! Okay, the Hobbit literally laid the ground work for all fantasy that has come after it. Anything you read today draws form what Tolkien started in the Hobbit! It’s whimsical, it’s heartwarming, and it’s fantasy done right!! Plus, it’s got one of my absolute favorite characters of all time, Bilbo Baggins. His character arc is one of the best I have still ever read (that may be purely nostalgia talking, but hey). You have to read it if you’re a fantasy fan. And if you aren’t, then it’s still considered a classic for a reason!!
