Half-Blood Prince has always been my favorite. I’ve read the series several times, but there is something so special about #6. “I’m not worried, Harry. I am with you.” gets me EVERY time.

No exactly!! That has been my experience as well. I watched the movies as they came out as a child, but I didn’t get to the novels until I was an adult! Awesome experience!!

Order of the Pheonix is my fave out of the series because that’s when the stakes are really high and when the found family really develops. I’m definitely rereading HP

This makes me want to read them again. Before I got busy as a mom I reread them every year. I’m waiting for my oldest to turn 11, then we are using them as a read aloud for homeschool. 1.5 years and counting!

Both Ian and Ashlynn reading my favorite series is exactly what I needed! Yay!

Jim Dale brings SO MUCH emotion and passion to the audiobooks. The last time I did my reread, I did via audiobooks and he just took it to another level. Also, RIP Sir Michael Gambon, our second beloved Dumbledore. Azkaban will always be my top choice. Being an animal lover, animagus was amazing to me. And then we have the Maurauder’s Map. Idk, those two blew me away. I love the rest all equally 😂 I can’t and won’t tier rank the rest.

I think prisoner of Azkaban is when the tone shifts the first two books are child’s play compared to the third book in my opinion

I was introduced to Harry Potter by my 5th grade teacher who read the books to us. Then I revisited them during my high school years and multiple times as an adult. I get something different out of them during these phases of my life. I love seeing people’s first reactions reading Harry Potter. (Maybe it’s because people feel the pressure since it’s loved worldwide) Glad that you enjoyed it!

i literally just started re-reading these books because my mom who is 42 and never read or watched harry potter wanted to buddy read them with me :,) but she has already surpassed me and is on the 3rd book

Well, this video has convinced this reading associate to reread Harry Potter! I read it when I was 12/13 and am now 25, so it's been a long time coming!

I felt the exact same way about Goblet of Fire! It took me the longest of all of them to read because I just didn't care enough about the tournament. Then you watch the movie and its like, "why didn't I care again cause I'm into it now." lol

Goblet of Fire has always been my favorite book and movie. I haven’t read these books since my early 20’s. I’m 34 now. Maybe it’s time for a re-read. It’ll be interesting to see which book is my favorite now as my taste in books has vastly changed.

Yay I loved this video. I've not been as fast a reader as I'm getting them through the library, currently waiting on the third book 😊 I really enjoyed the 2 first books, I always think oh this won't be that intriguing but I cannot put them down!!!

My favorite of the series is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban because it gives us another character for Harry to know more about his parents and another of Harry's father's best friends from school. I've read the series several times since I started reading this series when I was thirteen. It is such a fun series to get into every time. I went to the Harry Potter World at the Universal Park with my daughter and it was such a great experience to see it come to life.

@@iangubeli It's a mixed bag, I loved some parts of it, hated others, but am definitely glad I read it. I do think every Harry Potter fan should read it at least once to get their own feelings on it, and copies are pretty cheap used so, it's something to consider :) I don't expect anyone would love it but, there are some great moments, and some terrible ones.

Thank you so much!! I had no idea the second and sixth books were supposed to be one novel. Yet, now that you say it, it makes sense. I only was able to fly through these book because of my work. I drive for most of my day, so I can listen to audiobooks pretty much none stop as I go!!

im so happy I love Harry Potter so much! It is my favorite book series! for me all books are a 5 stars! my fave HP book is Deathly Hallows! Order of the Phoenix is my second fave! I don't have an order for the others they all tie! also this is the only series ive read more than three times and ive read this 10 times all the way through not including the multiple times ive listened to the audios and im currently on my 11th reread!

Oh gosh🤔🤔🤔 slumps are hard. I usually try to find something that sounds interesting in a new genre! Or rereading something that I absolutely loved has helped as well. It can rekindle a passion for reading again!

I LOVE the Harry Potter world, I have all eight movies and have the first book in paperback, three in special illustrated edition and the last three in hardback editions which completes my Harry Potter book collection and I love Harry and Daniel Radcliffe who played Harry in all eight movies and I used to have all pics of Dan all over my room and I had a major crush on him in my teen years.

Ok, seriously, it took me a few years after all the books and movies,the hype for me to think about picking up Harry Potter. I remember being asked by a good friend who loves to read as well, Did you read Harry Potter? Have you?? Will you?? I cave in said ok yes I'll give it a shot, since i didn't had the books, next morning I arrive to work and there is this tote bag sitting with gorgeous hardcover Harry Potter complete set,and I got sucked into the magical world of Harry and Lord Voldermont!! After I finished, I actually had a hungover. 😂 I didn't read any books for little while cause I kept thinking about the whole adventure!! It was a good time. ❤ Enjoy 😊

I've tried to read the first Harry Potter book twice, and both times I DNFed it just a couple chapters in. Something about the writing style of the first book makes me picture the characters as cartoons in my head. It was just too weird of an experience for me and couldn't do it. Love the movies though.

I love how the vlog started like a "trust me, I've read it" LOL BTW those covers are stunning!! my first favourite is the rainbow edition but these are a close second

My favorite book is The Prisoner of Azkaban (# 3) because it’s when Harry is still innocent. The Goblet of Fire ( # 4) at the end Harry experiences something horrible and I feel like his innocence is lost because of that. Also at #4 I also feel that Harry Potter is no longer for young readers.

Hopefully you did not have to rebuy these books. I bought all the hard covers and gave them to one of my nieces. Also, it sucks the audible narrator in the US sucks because in EU you can get Stephen Fry. However, for some freaking stupid reason not in the US.

Being filled with the Spirit and having discernment from the Word, I feel fine. HP is a story. The author didn’t write those books as a n act of defiance against God, and she herself is not a witch. There are some dark themes, sure, but knowing that it’s fiction helps to remind me that it’s harmless. None of the things discussed throughout the books can be duplicated are sought out in the real world.
