This was amazing. I never doubt your work...but man I was getting a little worried when you got to Deadpool. I could only dream of being able to get the depth of color you do in making those shadows. You are such a gifted colorist.

Aww thank youuuuu :) ill be honest, I surprised myself too. I do lack faith in what I can or can't do having never studied, I learn as I go. It's so cool when it comes together

I never checked actually.... hmm... the paper was not tearing however, it was just becoming extremely damp and markers just wouldn't stay still 😅

It really does speak volumes to how good of an artist you are when you can take one color and a crappy coloring book paper and still make a beautiful piece of art. Well done sir, and thank you.

Also just a suggestion if you do try to do this again, I would trace the drawing onto a better paper. Because it would a lot more easier and allow you to keep that dynamic look without fear of the paper pilling! I think my best versions of this challenge was when I used multipurpose or marker papers.

I think this actually came out amazing, I'd love to see you do this again. Maybe Green?

Absolutely. Now that he's covered blue, (My favorite color btw) I wanna see this become a series for each color ending in all the colors. Sure, an all black/grey challenge would be incredibly difficult to do, and an all white color challenge would have to be done on black paper, but I would be excited to see what he can do with each color. Yellow also seems very difficult, but the end result would be gorgeous.

Really liking the piece. Could use some more blue though.

I think it came out awesome and with the darker blues in the background it almost makes it look more like a gloomy setting. It'd be cool to see what it looks like with some added rain or even snow.

Ok, finished watching it and it looks great! The turquoise does look more green when placed against the blues of Deadpool. The background looks amazing! And Deadpool really looks like he belongs in the image. Because of the green in the turquoise, the scooter kinda stands out. 😊

Honestly, I actually surprised myself here... I never have studied gradients and values. So I was pleased with my choices. :) though, I cant stress enough how challenging the paper was. I just didn't want to "moan" this video haha

With only one colour, this drawing is still amazing, you're really talented.

Well done 🥰 Can I please suggest, if you try something like this again (which I would love to see ya do, esp with ALL alcohol markers) that you transfer the image onto quality paper that suits you? Perhaps even enlarge for all markers?? It’s not cheating! But will make it better for you as you can layer better, less bleeding and for yourself feel more comfortable working on it ❤️

Love the video! It would be maybe too overwhelming to have a video with all the colours and markers you have, however, i got a different idea! You can make a challenge with having only a singular marker of each brand and make one art work from it. Since you have so many different types and brands, you might end up having jist the perfect amount of variations but the challenge is if they work well together! (You can make it harder with having the colour chosen from whatever type/brand be randomly picked) In any case, love your work as always and will look forward to whatever you post!

Keep practicing! We all start from scratch, and it takes hard work. A good motivator is to compare a new piece that you like, with an old piece that you impressed yourself with - seeing your own growth is a lot more satisfying than always comparing yourself with your favourite artists, and falling short of their skill level

I really like this idea, it makes an entertaining video and if you enjoy the challenge. I think working through the primary colors and one just black, white and grayscale would be fun

One of the best water color paintings I've ever seen was painted useing just Blue. It looked like a photograph absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing. 👍 P.S. No white was used the white was the paper.

Gorgeous piece of colouring. Great idea to keep the vehicle teal. Otherwise it would have muddied up the whole thing. The new workspace looks beautiful too. Have fun putting all the markers back where they belong 😂 (which is one of the reasons I've never tried these one-colour challenges)

That is awesome - love this particular challenge and have watched others do this. If this becomes a series with the other colours, please don't forget that browns are actually dark oranges/red-oranges, ochres are dark yellows, and pinks are just tinted red/red-violets. Have watched many other vids where they ignore these rule sof colour theory! LOL The transition colours are always difficult to gauge which way they lean on the colour wheel as you mentioned with the turquoise. The same would've went with indigo in your case here, as well. They can go either way ;) Love this. Knew you'd do an awesome job with this challenge!
