Coloring Anime/Manga Hair in Prismacolor Pencils - Adult Coloring Tutorial

Hi!
When it comes to many Japanese artists, then colouring pages can be more anime style, or maybe you're working in a manga colouring book. Either way in this tutorial I'll be showing you how to do a quick, easy style hair in only 3 pencils! I do add some more for lighting effects, but basically this style hair can be done using only three main colours. While I'm doing a lilac hair you can use this technique with any combo/brand.

Powder Blue PC1087 (I'm using Luminance Light Cobalt Blue)

Wow, so pretty. I love the colors you used. I never would of thought to put some of those colors together, especially the yellow. So beautiful and different. Thanks so much for the tutorial.

I'm glad it could be useful! 🥰 Adding in different highlight colours like the yellow can really make something pop, but greens, blues - any colour will work really depending on the effect you want.

Your coloring is amazing! I love how the skin looks, is there any chance you can give a tutorial how your did her skin?

Thank you! 💜I am asked to do skin a lot, however the problem is I use 4 pencil brands (Prismacolor, Luminance, Lightfast, and Polychromos) just to create what you can see in this image. Not everybody has one of these brands, let alone all four, and I don't want to alienate anyone from trying to follow along.
