As always everything looks delicious! Im definitely going to try that potato salad sandwich. A couple I love to make for a hot sandwich is crab meat pan fried with mayo or a combination of cream cheese and mayo, tgen seasoned with dill, salt and pepper. I also will take the meat of any shellfish, lightly coat in flour or starch and pan fry in barely any oil. I put on a bun I toasted and put a little mayo on.

Very nice as usual, Sayaka. I notice you use more olive oil now, that is good, (but pricey in Japan for good quality), also sometimes the taste of sesame oil is required. Some fans of your´s can not eat sugar because of health reasons, how about making a recipe using stevia and let us know what you and your husband think about how it tasted? Stevia is available everywhere in Japan and many other places. The egg maki sushi and the renkon fries are great! Also edamame and salted kombu, super. You already know what I think of shiso leaves and umeboshi... But that is just my personal taste :-)) Most people love them, both Japanese and gaijins, I know. The mini sandwiches are so nice, so Japanese in style, delicious! Arigato for another nice clip with inspirations from Japan!

Thank you so much for your warm comment and advise! That's good idea about the stevia. I will think about it 😊 Edamame and salted kombu are my favorite combination! Yes, I know about your thought about shiso leaves and umeboshi... 😁 What ingredient is your favorite for your onigiri?

@@JapaneseCookingChannel Oh, for me mentaiko is king, but I have lived long in Fukuoka. Tarako, katsuobushi and simple kombu are also good in my taste. I also love fluffy, fresh bread with mentaiko. It is sad I can not buy mentaiko in Romania. Have tried canned and frozen, but these are not the same as fresh. A tip: if you buy mentaiko in Japan and it is not a gift, just to eat at home the same evening, ask for broken ones. They are at half price or less.

Oh! right! You've lived in Fukuoka. That's why you know about very good mentaiko 😊 Mentaiko is my favorite onigiri ingredient too! But, I thought a lot of people overseas can't get one at stores, so I tend to not using it in my video. Maybe I will use it in the next bento video 😁 Thanks for your tip about mentaiko! Recently, the supermarket near my house has been selling packets of mentaiko that are cut and misshapen. I always buy that one, but perhaps that is closer to the half price you are talking about...(?)
