Chapron cab, BX Sport , DS hopefully under restauration

A wonderful collection! The one that really got me going was the BX 16V. I had a 16 TRS back in the day. Great car with one big exception. I live in the west of Sweden where we have a lot of salt on the roads in winter. Back since the beginning of the sixties all Citroens sold in sweden had hydraulic tubes covered with Rilsan, some plastic material, nylon I think. When the BX came the engineers decided that increasing the thickness of the galvanizing should be enough for Swedish climate as well. It was far from! That led to Citroen workshops changing all hydraulic tubes for free if they failed during the warranty time and "only" charging for the worktime for two or three years after the warranty expired. My car had missed both the deadlines! From 1988 on the tubes were Rilsan covered from factory. But I loved that car until it made me miserable, so miserable that I bought a SAAB.

J'ai tout de suite aperçu la BX Sport ❤ J'en ai possédé 2 une 85 Rouge Vallelunga et une AM87 ( oui oui ) Gris quartz

Une DS avec un toit ouvrant ???
