Collecting Rolex Watches, Longines, Audemars Piguet, Swatch and More | Collector Conversation
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Craig has spent years building up a large collection of watches, drawing from the places he’s lived and locations he’s traveled to in his life. From boutique-edition Swatches, a vintage Rolex Submariner, and quartz watches from Swatch and Tissot, Craig’s purchases are based purely off love and passion for the pieces themselves. Tune in to see the full spectrum from Ball, Breitling, Patek Philippe, and so much more in this episode of Collector Conversation.

Tim, I love how you bring differing watch collectors to your show. Craig has a beautiful collection and I can see the enjoyment he has in timepieces. It’s also nice to see that he can share his passion with his wife.
A true watch lover is brand agnostic like this dude. Great video
Wow! Never seen a Breitling Emergency in full gold. That's cool!!
Definitely has a good appreciation of watches and buys what he likes. Really refreshing to see, and this theme has been a good thing to see across so many of Tim’s interviews. Collecting experiences and not hype-pieces is a wonderful thing!
I love this approach to collecting. So many interesting watches of different types and price points. Very enjoyable conversation!
Nice guy….love that he collects all price points!
Tim- your best video yet. Such an interesting collection and conversation with Craig. I found myself wanting to keep this video going. I loved the ‘little engines’ analogy.
Watching from Zürich. So nice to listen to someone who enjoys Switzerland so much! 🤗
We need more collectors like him. Buy cos you enjoy not because you want to make a profit!
Totally agree that watches should be a labour of love not an investment. Another must watch episode.
Enjoyed this episode! He truly buys what he loves…NO mention of re-sale values…!!!
Another great chat with a beautiful collection, and he can pronounce the brands properly lol. Makin memories, wonderful. Congrats.
Weird relation to Craig’s story, but I have a son with autism. Like many kids affected by it, he was massively into trains from a young age, and we’d spend every weekend driving around Nj and Pennsylvania watching and filming trains for his KZread channel. I have been a watch collector since the 1990s, so this involvement in railroads made me discover the Ball watch company and their strong link to the business of railroading in the late 1800s. I have a beautiful blue dialed Cleveland Express model, and it always accompanied my son and I on our weekend outings. He’s in college now (and thriving, thank God) and this video gave me these great memories. Great job as always!

You guys should check out the National Watch & Clock Museum in Columbia, PA and then hit the train yard in Strasburg! That would make for a great day trip!

Been there twice! We’ve been all over Pa railfanning. We do Horseshoe Curve a few times a year. Pennsylvania is def a gold standard for train spotting!
Love this collection. This is someone I can totally relate to. Really refreshing to see some unique under appreciated pieces and hear the reasons why he loves them. I probably would not watch another Collector Conversation video with someone just showing off their hype pieces.
Enjoyed the conversation! Many cool watches 😎.
Fantastic interview as always. Nice to see some Ball in the collection. Definitely an underrated brand with a great history.
A delightful episode. Goes down as easy as apple pie. 🥧
Love this…collecting because you actually love and like the watch….how refreshing!
Great conversation. The sd40 is my favorite version. Unassuming and no cyclops.
Lovely diverse lineup. Not just the latest and greatest.
great conversation.
Super aquatic collection and the swatches are cool. Thank you for sharing
Excellent conversation as always! Interesting thoughts on building the collection, and fun to hear about Craig's journey.
Stunning AP, I didn't know this kind of complications actually existed. Thank you for sharing this !
retrograde seconds has got to be the coolest complication in existence. I have no idea why it's not more common...
That was a great convo and a really diverse collection. Great to see different interesting watches.
Ball is so underrated. Great value and original designs.
So good..thanks👍
Loved the Longines. Such an underrated brand.

Also Rado and Mido.
Great collection 👍 The Breitling Emergency is way underrated
Really enjoying this series. Great stuff Tim and Team. Big fan!
These are great videos to watch as it helps me reassess my own watch collecting situation and really try to focus on which watches matter most to me and maybe what I will most likely want to get in the future.
Ball is the watchmaker that got me into watch collecting. This guy’s collection is much like mine. We have a lot of the same watches. He has the same taste and philosophy. Nice to see another watch collector with this approach. I am surprised he doesn’t have a Grand Seiko GMT (nice bang for the buck)
Exactly how it should be. Enjoyed to watch this 👌🏻
Great collection great show. Thanks to all
Love these collector shows. Nice work Tim .
Yo, what's up everyone? It's your favorite commenter here with another video feedback. Today, I'm going to be reviewing out this video by the talented creator. Let me tell you, this video is absolutely amazing. I'm not even kidding. It's so good that I'm actually starting to feel a little empowered. I mean, how can someone be so talented? Seriously, though, this video is a must-watch. It's informative, entertaining, and just plain good. So what are you waiting for? Go check it out right now!
Would be way more interesting if guests stated what they did for a living.

Not sure about Craig but a couple of the previous guests were in private equity, unfortunately.

@@BenTramer of course haha I would just think it’s interesting to know. They don’t need to state what actual business they work for or if they are private they can promote their own business. There is just too much money on the table to not ask. I don’t care if they say Daddy has all of the money! What did Daddy do?!
GREAT COLLECTION and with such intention :) such a great piece of history to hand down one day!
This is a very interesting conversation that I have a lot similar opinions about watches collection. For instance, I have a few Swatch watches in my collection. Moreover, having a lot watches is a perfect and have lots of fun when switching watches daily, I have a feeling of adventure in terms of trying a new things today.
Totally agree with his view on investments Far too much emphasis on value in the community at large
Love the shout out to Philip Johnson’s fabulous Roofless Church!
Thanks Craig & Tim Great collection 👍 With Craig living in Florida wondering if he's a Jimmy Buffett fan ?
Tim do you think ben at hodinkee smashes up the office with a baseball bat gifted from the sultan of Brunei after seeing how collector conversations are supposed to be done? Regards
Seiko flighty 😍
“Black and yellow?” Gtfo. 😂 J/k great chat. Really lovely collection of watches and stories. 💚💚💚
Awesome! 👏👏👏 You are the best husband in the world! I'm proud of you! I love you so much! ❤️❤️❤️

That's what she said
nice collection - except for almost all the boring Rolexes - they just look so dull compared to the individuality of the rest of the collection.
Where do you find these people?!

What do you mean?
Guys you are full of it I’m sure he wouldn’t want those Rolex watches going down in price where they are worth nothing They are assets and cost lots of money Just like art They to me are investments
@franklucente3517

It sounds like you are more worried about the resale value than the sentimental or practical value of watches? If that’s the case, how can you ever actually wear and enjoy your pieces? If you’re more concerned about who is going to buy/own your watch next, you’re really missing out on the full ownership experience.
The term “investment” is used incorrectly so much in the watch world. The correct use of this, is what you say to your wife to justify the quantity of watches you are buying!
Why do all watch commentators have girly hands?
I wouldn’t call this a collection, it’s more of a salad than anything else
@franklucente3517

As opposed to…? What do you consider a valid collection? Honestly just curious how you qualify it…
Buddy you don’t know what your talking about U don’t spend thousand on something and don’t care if they are worth nothing at the end of the day Give me a break
@franklucente3517

Why are you repeating the same comment? And yes, there are plenty of us that purchase things without concern of resale. We purchase watches to wear, enjoy and attach memories/experiences to them. Maybe they are meant to be handed down to the next generation and there is zero expectation of resale- ever. Why is that so difficult to comprehend? If you cannot afford to purchase/own something for the pure enjoyment of it- with no concern of resale- then how do you ever use/enjoy it? If it’s simply going in a safe with the intention of resale, fine, but that’s really not how real collectors and enthusiasts operate. There’s probably a watch investment forum that might suit you better? This is not that type of audience. 🤷♂️
junk collector - pump up ridiculousness

Thanks for watching! 👍👍👍
Stop promoting pugs. They’re bred with so many health issues. You’re literally endorsing animal cruelty. Keep to the watch content, you’re informed about that subject.
So Rolex heavy. Screams 'bit of a douche'

Can’t agree with that? He’s got multiples of Tissot and Ball in there, too? He obviously appreciates the full spectrum? He’s also extremely knowledgeable. I might label a dude trying to “flex” with one of those gold pieces (YM2) as a Dbag, but a Gold Breitling Emergency?? I’m impressed that he even found one! Talk about a conversation starter! 😂👍
How loaded are these "collectors". Smh...

A couple of the previous ones were regrettably in private equity...not sure how Craig has made his money. I respect his collection and his approach though.
these should be shorter
