This me day in day out. Average $350 per day with only doing about 150kms which is great and bout $30 fuel. Thing I wish uber would bring is the option only to get shop and deliver orders to come through just like door dash

Chris, you how you do a pic of the door when you drop off an order [ LEGENDARY WISDOM! ] What's the go with the go pro in stores and doing the Shop and Delivery orders. What set up do you use and what's the store rules?

Man that Uber order for the COVID tests sucks - no cash for getting there to find there's none in stock (and no alternatives in that case). Appreciate your work on the channel mate, you're doing the hard grind - you will be successful.

Geez, some nice paying ones there. I know a guy in Sydney who decided to change from E-Bike to car, and start doing just Coles orders only a few months ago. He started off liking it, and was doing reasonably well, however I saw him again the other day, which was a quiet day, and he was almost in tears, as he said he'd crashed a car he'd hired (and was given a new one to work with by the company he hired it from), was sick of trying to find carparking spots (often parking illegally, risking fines, which is even more dicey as they don't leave a fine on your windscreen anymore, they mail them to you!) and was sick of paying so much of what he makes for fuel. He said he'll be back on the E-Bike when his car contract is finished in January.

i am quite shocked! do you get money from the delivery cost as well as a % out of the shop item price?

G'day Chris. Great insight into your current job. Do you have to pay for the groceries from your own cash up front, and are you compensated back that same day? Also, are the daily payments taxes, or is that paid at tax time?

Hey man, You get a company card which you add to the wallet of your phone, and tax isnt withheld. You just have to cough up the tax ammount after your deductions come tax time (as long as you arnt GST registered meaning you are clearing $75,000+ per year on your ABN) 🙂🤘

Hey Chris. I’m new to shop and deliver part. What do you do for the Coles bags? Do you scan them as well or are they free for DD orders?

Just scan what you need for bags on checkout 🙂🤘 Customers pay an estimated bag fee when they order, but just use as many as you need. Scan them and pay for them with the Doordash Red Car or Uber Plus Card as part of the order 🙂🤘

Hi I do shop and deliver and you can go in to any coles you don’t have to go to the one on the map ,

You did well Chris. I did ten hours on Uber and DD today and only managed $260. How do you get more shop and deliver orders ? Sit near a Coles ? I don’t have those “preferences” options on my DD app like you do, don’t know why ?

It seems to be rolling out, I got it a fair bit later than some other zones

Another youtuber did a huge coles shop & deliver, the checkout total was $180+ and the red card declined. He felt defeated and wasn't compensated.

I have turned off shop n deliver after taking too much time dealing with substitutions. How do you quickly manage it mate?

If i cant find it, it hit it fast and check for suggested substitutions. If theres none and it messages the customer, i keep shopping. If i finnished shopping and hit check out, its too late for them. Im not paid to wait, Im paid to move

this is kinda what i do for my zone. i set DD to shop and deliver only and use uber to fill in the time in-between. sometimes i get a shopping order from ea one at the same store going in the same direction and i can do both. i can usually maintain about $30 an hour and it keeps my fuel cost alot lower then it would if i was doing normal deliveries

Those who have been doing what we are doing are going to have a great 12-18 months ahead. I might do a vid, but the high level is DCA across about 10 coins I like 🙂🤘

Because it’s hard work, the pay is crap and your car gets trashed. Not being negative but it’s a fact. I did ten hours straight today no break. I made $253 and I’m so exhausted I can barely move 😂

@@roddy123451 I do have down time or eat in the car or do some shopping etc but my apps are always on. I work the Gold Coast and made $26 hour yesterday and in my market this is good but some drivers tell me they make $40 hour ? 😮 I don’t even know how this is possible I’ve been driving for a year and I only made $40 once and I had a quest and a whole lot of luck 🍀 I think every market and city is very different

Unfortunately not. Closest site is Brisbane for me which is over an hour drive. If it was local Id probably give it a go

Uber pack and deliver are giving better pay to the driver, far more compare to DD

Trust me mate chermside, everton park enoggra to about new market best areas

Yeah true i would normally avoid going that far up as the delivery distances tend to drastically increase the other night I was Stafford Everton park and surrounding areas and was constantly pumped with orders usually not far drives for a decent amount Don’t go any further then Windsor just too hectic and avoid going out as far as Albany creek. It’s a busy area using only Uber eats you should average $35 per hour + For me Everton park Thursday Friday is the golden area so start there
