Coleman 508A - Check Valve issue resolved.
This awesome little Coleman 508A single burner 03-93, stove had issues after issues, previously won't light, cleaned out generator and lites. Check out my video on cleaning the generator for this stove. Then was losing pressure, check valve issue. Here's how to fix a check valve issue, using a professional custom built tool specifically for Check Valve removal.

I have one of these. Thanks for posting this video. My check valve is stuck closed. I press pump handle, and it just pushes back out again. I also have an older 2 burner classic, with check valve stuck open. I heard a name associated with the tool (Mike Wells?). . Do you have a link, or Canadian source for the check valve removal tool? I see the bilingual sticker on yours (Bonjour! Est-ce que j'entends un bon Canadien?*) *Brought by google translate. Mon français est terrible

Yes go on Facebook and contact Mike Wells he will arrange payment and delivery with you. Or try soaking it with WD40 or Carb cleaner, in the check valve chamber. Good luck and have fun.

@@kcrepair168 Thank you I used these stoves a lot when I was younger. I bought this one as a teen, used it once (proper fuel) and tucked it away. Chemical solutions haven't been a solution yet, but will keep trying.
