    A mini version of this would be so perfect. If I was gonna be in a combat situation, I would love to have this with me. Amazing design and awesome steel. 52100 is rarely gotten for this price...and production knives with it are almost unheard of. Cold steel is irreplaceable.

    April 18, 2020. It's a shame. ColdSteel used to make most of their blades here in the U.S.A. And they would use what was their proprietary carbon steel, Carbon V, for their fixed blades. I like daggers myself and that's a pretty sweet dagger. I have a couple of their counter points I EDC which are dagger style blades and they are some of my favorite folders. The wasp reminds me of a WWII fighting knife which I've always thought was really cool and very effective for that type of work. My state sucks when it comes to double edged blades so unfortunately we can't carry them here. :(

    @@DonnieBAllDay I like that attitude and totally agree with it. It's not illegal unless you get caught right lol. Double edged blades are legal to own here, I have several but we can't carry them. Which makes absolutely no sense since you can carry a gun here. If I'm going somewhere were things might go bad I've been known to carry a 20" framing hammer in a tool loop, a cold steel axe cane and a couple of legal size folders and there ain't nothing the law can do about it. We really need to boot all the sheep and treasonous traitors out of office and replace them with real patriots that stand up for the freedoms that our forefathers fought and died to protect. Until that happens they'll continue to pass their weapon bans like a bunch of scared school girls until we can't legally own anything useful to protect ourselves and families with. Their end goal is for total power over a population of defenseless citizens imo.

    But you can own them yes? At home, maybe your vehicle? This is something I'd probably disregard as well but if you really had to use your blade (because someone didn’t give you a choice) in self defense, you must factor how much safer a double sided blade would be opposed to a single sided one; whether it is a worthy trade off for what would be a clear cut self defense case or a prosecutor saying their deviation client was assaulted with an Illegal weapon. "Who carries illegal weapons and isn’t looking for trouble!" I don’t mind a single side sharp as something like this seems much more for thrusting. (which are what daggers are for) Eh, carry what you want. Legal immigrants are getting picked up in Manhattan subways because of their open carry exact-o knives... because you know you are only allowed concealed carry (was in his tool belt which is filled out maxed) and can’t exceed 4 in. Which is when cops grab the 5 dollar tool I used in school on farts and crafts, pushes the blade out as far as possible which would be like 8 inches=assault weapon. Least we don’t live in the UK where you can’t carry your kitchen knife over to your neighbors.

    @hildolfrdraugadrottin7279

    Жыл бұрын

    @@ferrisbueller9991 I've got several double edged blades, I just don't carry them. Double edged blades definitely have an edge over single edged blades as far as self defence goes.😊 I was a union meat packer for awhile and used a knife eight hours a day and even a little three inch blade can be pretty effective in the right hands. I doubt I'll ever be in a situation were I have to use a blade. I've been stabbed once and cut another time but luckily I didn't have to resort to using my blade. I'm sure the guys that cut me will think twice before cutting someone else. Hopefully I'll never have to use a blade for self-defense but the way the world is going it's always a possibilitye. I normally carry a couple just in case, a small fixed blade and a folder with a blade just under four inches. I think it's good to have a backup on opposite sides in case you can't get to one. You made some good points. It's B.S. that people aren't allowed to carry self-defense tools. It just makes it even easier for criminals to take advantage of good people and does very little to stop crime.

    I really agree with you on the use of glows when doing a knife review. But i never use glows when using a knife anyway or a axe or saw or anything. Bare handed gives you control of the tool. Same with firearms. I live in a very cold country, but if i am wearing glows, i take them of when i use a knife. It must be really cold if i dont do it. So yeah, you are right, they lie. That grip is good for self defense because when stabbing and retracting the blade, the knife sticks and can slide in your hands. And if you do that, i dont think you care about, if it is like sandpaper against your skin. You would be glad it is made that way. You make good vids and tests. I do follow you on Instagram🤙

    It is another variation of the Gerber MK2 F/S. A good one and unfortunately about the same length. It needs to be 7" and a 8" model would be great!!! In addition, my old Mk2 was great as a desert (Calif.) knife and on fish (salmon) and small game & snakes. Mine also had fine teeth which was great for water vines. Incidentally, I had to leave mine behind in Vietnam. And this one is full tang.

    Fear of honesty is a terrible trait. I wouldn't stop watching movies because the actor has a different opinion than me. Think about the size of their base that would be lost if we were all that shallow. I have a lot of people who disagree with me politically here but we have a common bond. Brothers of the blade. For me, I am no fan of the two party system. I can't stand either side, but watching one side burn my country makes the soldier in me boil in the blood as they desecrate my flag and nation. I'm not here for gain. I'm here because I love knives and I love knife people.
