    Dbad, I’ve been watching your vids since the beginning brother (keep em coming man), seeing all these laid out is funny because you and I have most of the same blades. Maybe because we’re both fellow army grunts 👍🏻. Anyway my question for you is what future cold steel blades do you have your eye on (possibly for upcoming vids)?. For me, I have been digging those Warcraft blades. Seeing what you think of em. My most recent buy was the OSS, seeing as how you recently found some interest in double edged “dagger” type blades I do recommend it. For the price I had to. Food for thought. Again keep doing your thing my brutha I eat it up!

    That's a awesome collection! I'm a big CS fan as well. I'm not sure how many I've actually had cause I lost my first collection when my place burned. I lost my second collection in a burglary so I'm working on my third collection now. I've got a couple recommendations for you I think you'd really like since like myself your into big blades. First is the 6" To Lite. Like your Luzon it's extremely fast to deploy, a real sleek and solid stiletto. The other one is the 6" Counterpoint. Imo it's one of the best large defensive blades that can do pretty much everything else well too. It has incredible penetration. I know first hand how well it works as mine tried to kill me lol. I was wearing shorts with it setting open on my thigh cause I cleaning it when my cat started to jump on a burner which was still hot. I grabbed the cat and the knife fell and stuck way over a inch into my lower leg. I totally soaked almost three rolls of paper towels and a roll of toilet paper. It took over four hours before I got the bleeding stopped and I was seriously starting to think I was going to bleed out. I probably should've got stiches but I don't normally go to see doctors. I just don't like most doctor's cause most of them seem kinda creepy to me. There's just not many doctors that are into it for the right reasons. Some are just straight up evil imo. Anyway, doing that much damage from simply falling about a foot says a lot about its effectiveness I think. You've got quite a few of their swords. How do you like the? I had a couple of real deal katanas that were stolen and I still have a Last Legend Ranger sword made for steel to steel competition and lots of machetes but I need another sword. Well I might not really need one but you know how that is lol. I like the looks of their Viking sword so I thought I'd ask you for your opinion about their swords since you have some which I'm sure you've tested. Another impressive thing they make is their MAA spears. I like them a lot better than their sheet metal spears. I can see you giving your tree a bad time with one for some reason. 😆

    @@DonnieBAllDay Your cane looks like it could be pretty effective. I have a sword cane that a friend gave me but its more of a toy than anything. I do have Cold Steels axe cane which is pretty much indestructible and a serious self-defense tool you can carry anywhere. I know what you mean when it comes to Cold Steels stuff. I'd like to have a lot more of their stuff but don't have a lot of extra money. If I ever became rich I'd write them and tell them to send me two of everything they make. :)

    Nice nice nice gotta say coldsteel is my favorite going back to the army everyone had to have the tanto an they were $200 which was crazy expensive then so I go cheapest one sk5 tanto $75 back then now it's like $30 but for price to quality they are above everyone else. I carry my large g10 espada everyday or my broken skull ( the endura killer) the other company I like is kershaws. I also have spyderco but less an less as they raise their prices but I don't own any benchmade had one got rid of it way overpriced. Next thing I want is a real sword I really want a Philippine type but coldsteel polish saber looks cool to. Any swords you like over any others I saw the ones you got which do you like the most.

    "If the saber is coming this way and you're holding it this way you're still going to lose a finger" You know your body is set up to quickly turn that from vertical to horizontal right? A 1918 style trench knife isn't for that kind of knife fighting either. It's designed for those TRENCH fighting situations, where there isn't even enough room to draw a saber and you will likely find yourself grappling with a high probably that everything is wet and muddy. That handle is mostly to keep that knife from being ripped out or slipping out of your hand, not to block swords and punch people. But I digress, cold steel hasn't made a decent knife in forever, I was just here to see the peace keeper.

  • @DonnieBAllDay

    @DonnieBAllDay

    First, fingers are overrated. Losing one or two just makes for good video. Second, the trench blades were designed for close quarter fighting. But they were carried beyond fox holes, being a knife that served multiple purposes.

    @@DonnieBAllDay Donnie, I can't think of a single knife that doesn't serve multiple purposes and isn't carried beyond its original intended purpose. That guard is still designed to keep the knife in your hand, not to block with. If you want to block with a knife, get a full basket parrying dagger. Even though they were designed for blocking sword strikes, you can still make dinner with them. I do believe that people who are missing fingers may disagree with you = )
