Eric Jamal can go bar for bar with anyone. Literally anyone. His energy, wordplay, rhythm, timing and doubles/triples are up there with Eminem, busta,dmx,nas etc. Imo.

This is the feel and style I remember back in the early 90s that made me fall in love with hip hop.

Phi is the Golden Ratio which is what the ratio between two consecutive Fibonacci numbers approaches. Fibonacci sequence is the addition of the previous two numbers in the sequence starting with 1 and 1. Rio is amazing. In most groups he would be the best. He's just not quite at the level of Taj, and a good bit below Ras and Eric J. And that is no knock on Rio because Eric and Ras are generational talents. Coast are the 90s Bulls. Rio is Rodman. A Hall of Famer in perhaps the best team ever. But not Pippen and *definitely* not Jordan. That being said- Rodman wasn't a weak link and neither is Rio. 'Weak link' is disrespectful.

There guys are a breath of fresh air and I don’t think they’ve dropped a track that hasn’t been fire yet!

The truth is since they've come out we always like to say, they the best right now, ain't nobody messing w them, although true for sure, these cats are timeless and would hang w anyone from any Era. This song I think perfectly attacks all the Coast fans who are really only Eric Jamal finds... Like I used to be. erics first verse had me blown away. Then you hear the others less complicated but similarly impactful and you cant help but realize your robbin yourself of enjoying greatness in many forms on one track.
