TA13UU for most of season 1 of this show and even some episodes of the seasons after, it was all improvised by the voice actors. So for the most part, it is just a conversation that was animated over.

youtube wants to show you good content, this show is better then the stuff adult swim airs now these days

LMFAO. The dialogue in this show is so good. It feels so real, and so many of the jokes are unexpected. I love it!

I get it. No point panicking when you're already in the stressful situation, you've just got to live through it. Well, that's my guess, because that idea's helped me in a very similar way. "You're already at the party" is a nicely succinct way of putting it 😊

I LOVE flash animation, but tbh after they phased out the squiggly art design, the series never had the same charm

You can tell they had a lot of fun making this show; relaxed art style, snickering during recordings and just genuine conversations put in the script

Most of it wasn't really scripted, at least the first season was basically all improv that they figure out how to animate later on. The laughs are genuine reactions from unexpected twists in where the stories would go.

The animation on this show hurt to look at when i was a kid, but looking back, the humor was probably worth it

I swear Coach Mcgirk has got to be the most coolest guy to talk to. Guy knows how to make conversations interesting.

This show has some of the best voice work ever. The natural way they talk over each other is perfectly executed lol

This is the scene that made me watch this series

McGuirk is insane & dumb but has the personality of a genius. A somewhat psychopathic genius but still. He's analytical & pragmatic, at least in regards to intent, even if a lot of his choices are bad. He's the type to fail, not because he panicked, did nothing, or didn't read someone but because he very determinedly made the wrong choice. Plus he was very right for pretty much this entire scene.

I feel like this show didn’t have a script. It feels like someone just animated a podcast where they got lost in the sauce first.

This gave me a nostalgic flashback to falling asleep with adult swim on the TV, and waking up at like 3 or 4 when this show normally aired super late

I own the box set and will forever be in love with it. Even the good shows that came before and after by these producers and actors don't have the raw fun that this one had

The thing about all the "discord call" comparisons is that a lot of this series' dialogue was improvised; so sketches like these literally were just the voice actors trying to come up with something funny on the spot and talking over each other. They basically were having a discord call.

"Fighting is wrong so if your gunna fight you're already wrong; so if you're gunna dirty might as well dirty fight." he is a regular Prince Andre.

Every single one of these clips is timeless.

thats actually what they did. VAs were basically given a synopsis of the episode and they just improvised the dialogue to go along with the plot. everything was animated to suit what they improvised

Bro this show always aired SUPER late on the east coast, so I always remember waking up to it when falling asleep with adult swim on

Hank Hill: This is the belt line Bobby. You must never ever hit below the belt line. Always above. Meanwhile McGirk is actively telling Brendan "Don't feel ashamed getting into a fight with someone."

This was always one of my comfort shows, especially as a teenager.

this show is the essence of "late night cartoons to fall asleep to" because of the weird ASMR-like quality and minimalistic naturalism. it's obviously hilarious though

I still, to this day, remember this scene and this moral lesson about fighting being wrong already, so go ahead and fight dirty.

This is a rare KZread gem. This made me laugh and seek the series years ago

I think it's finally time to binge this series, it's too funny!
